  1. also, you need to figure out how youre gonna get any power out of the amp(whichever amp you choose) with TWO subs connected. you have a dual 2 ohm sub now yes? adding another will bring you to a final ohm load .5 ohms, 2 ohms, or 8 ohms. so whichever amp you choose needs to put out STOUT power at 2 ohms, or you need to swap the current sub out for a Dual 4 ohm coil setup(or dual 1's). Dual 4 VC's will wire to a final load of 1 ohm and that's the likely configuration you'll want with a 1 ohm stable amp. hope my post wasn't too confusing.
  2. You're doing 150's with 3K and 3 power acoustik 15's? What kind of electrical are you running?
  3. Like title says, I've got 2 new RE SRX 12's like new in their boxes. Ive had them mounted and ran them for only a couple of hours max. I'd rate them 10/10 cosmetically and 10/10 mechanically. I'd like to see if anyone has some 10's if similar power handling that they'd be interested in trading. If not, I'll rock the 12's. I don't have a lot of depth as these are going in a wedge behind the seat in a regular cab chevy full-size.
  4. I loved this show as well. This REALLY shows our age guys. The younger dudes reading are probably like WTF?
  5. 2 DC 3.5K's would be way under your budget of $1000 a piece Edit-Sorry I just re read and you want 5-7K PER amp?
  6. Haha, well I see that now. I'd like to thank you for not discriminating
  7. Read the post Sani, it just says to unplug the RCAs and if the noise goes away it's the HU. The reason I said I loved it, was because there was NO mention of RE-connecting the RCAs. So obviously no noise will come through with zero RCA's connected.
  8. Two chicks at the same time....in all seriousness, I just turned 30 on the 29th of sept, and thought similarly. I wouldn't change a thing really except getting college done and out of the way sooner.
  9. I've brought it to your attention before that you have a tendency to thread jack. It's not fair to the OP, you realize that right? I wasn't flaming you or putting you on blast. I just wanted you to be aware and chill a little. I'm not offended, and I don't think the OP is either man. Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I DID say I wasn't hating man.
  10. Whenever I address OP in a response, I'm talking to the Original Poster, not anyone else. I realize it may have been confusing since I started my post by addressing you. Sorry for the mix-up KHRISS. You need to get a little better at NOT thread jacking too dude. I'm NOT hating man I promise, just giving some friendly advice. P.S. OP-Sorry for the mini thread jack
  11. I appreciate it bro, but I need to stick with a single din. Do some research and maybe try to find an older model Kenwood flip out. There are still some out there New in box. Just a small suggestion from me.
  12. MY Kenwood has a 5V preout and it's the real deal man. It does happen to say eXcelon on the front though. That KVT is a nice deck OP. The motorized part of the unit sometimes has a tendency to give up though. Do you only have room for a Single din and that's the reason you're looking at flip outs?
  13. You've got room for 3 10's sealed behind the seat. Or the two deepest baddest 12's you can FIT sealed. I wouldn't try ported with your limited space. You should get some width across cab, top depth, bottom depth and total height measurements for us to give more specifics.
  14. Famous last words dude.....
  15. I found out it's RIGHT by my GF's house. It will be at Sonic on 7th St and Thunderbird. I'll be attending for sure, but don't know if it will be a good turn out or not.
  16. I'll look up details, but Phoenix I believe.
  17. Is anyone going to the MECA state finals in Arizona on the 9th?
  18. Can't wait till his hubs lock up going down the road and he loses a wheel. Or his soon to be service on his transfer case and rear end.
