  1. Right now you're actually wired at 3 ohms, not 6. The subs wire for a final impedance load of 3 ohms. Get an amp that puts out good power at 4 ohms and you'll be in good shape.
  2. Time machine?
  3. I saw my first ISF here in Phoenix the other day, and I gotta admit, it DOESN'T look like any other Lexus. The all black looks great. What kind of finish you want on the wheels though? Flat, glossy, ultra-gloss?
  4. I'll be sure and buy only from this forum or West Coast, I don't wanna end up with an SMB Bistortion Betector.
  5. Only in California!
  6. I never realized that DB link was that decent. I realize that it's not KNU, but it looks legit.
  7. My favorite part of the review was that he seemed STOKED about hitting a 123 dB. You see that part?
  8. The article seems to have been written by a 12 year old perhaps. A lot of wrong information in there. Blonde was spelled wrong as well. I remember having to write papers on something I chose NOT to learn about and filling it with "fluff" as this writer did.
  9. How is the box going to be oriented in the car? Port up two subs back?
  10. Also, not sure if you thought about it, but you are building this in that SRT-8 Jeep yes? You might consider putting a layer of tint over the plexi since you said your buddy has luggages going in and out of there all the time. The plexi will get stupid scratched without some protection on it. I'm sure you've thought of this already, but wanted to give the input.
  11. Instead of screws, couldn't he use a strong clear epoxy? The right stuff is very strong...no?
  12. ^^^decode the gas? Think maybe you meant siphon.
  13. Seems like a poor idea to come to SMD and bad mouth a same branded product. Kinda like telling a mother that JUST gave birth that her baby is ugly...not wise.
  14. I clicked on that little thumbs up button....hope that helps.
  15. ^^^no Burt coils? What about Ernie coils? J/K...had to bust balls when I saw that typo. Sorry
  16. You need to get a BitTorrent client and try to get that to work for you. Much better than that crappy P2P you're using.
  17. yeah, just watched the motor trend vids on youtube.... the Shelby barely edges out the SS in performance. as far as resale is concerned - not worth it here in Russia, a mustang is a mustang and a camaro is just sooo much more scarce than a car that has esentially been around since 2005..... not enough of a legacy here. It came out in 2010 i thought for the camaro? I may be wrong? The 05 he is referring to is the Mustang.
  18. You've overlooked the 6.0 powered Pontiac GTO's. Same powerplant as the Camaro(basically) and tons of aftermarket go-fast goodies for it. They will fit your "older" status for customs purposes as they are 05 and 06's. A lot more rare than the other cars you mentioned as they no longer make them. Will be more of a collector in the future than a GT mustang or SS Camaro.
  19. That's what I told him last night. There are plenty of those trucks lurking in the salvage yards. LMC would never be a first choice of mine, unless I absolutely couldn't find it elsewhere.
  20. Ceramic is good for keeping heat down. Titanium is probably expensive isn't it? Ceramic used to be the highest dollar headers, but I've never seen a comparison with a titanium one. Titanium is bound to be lighter.
  21. How many gigs are you looking for?
  22. I'd look for a tuner that offers an 87 octane tune, that way you don't HAVE to run premium while running the tune. The tuner I have on my fullsize GMC is a Premium fuel tune, and if I don't run premium(which i ALWAYS HAVE), you can run into early detonation issues. NOT worth the risk in my opinion. I run a Superchips programmer, but Hypertech and others are just as good. Creep around a Jeep forum and see what others are running on that Jeep. I believe it's a WJ right? Good luck with the search.
  23. I was gonna say google Magnum PI. Also, fluorescent tank tops.
