It's the price I can get them for plus I have hands on experience with them. Another thing is box size they like. It's basically going to be two 5k amps strapped @ 1ohm. I'm honestly leaning towards the 10s, since I won't have to wall and I can just do a back seat box. If I don't win the contest I'll probably go to a full wall with 12s. I might give the vvx 10s a shot since I was offered reasonable pricing.
