now that ive been thinking about it would there be a noticeable difference between sealing them off from the trunk or just have them facing back with the trunk deadened? idk where i heard this but do you lose sq from them facing right into the cabin? im not gonna compete so numbers arnt important. also most likely they are gonna be on 1700 rms

ive been messing around in torres and i just cant seem to get it right. could someone help design me a box? i want around 3.5 net and tuned to about 30 with 2 common port walls. my max dimensions are 35W x 14H x 30D. its for 2 skar audio 12s. also how do you seal off the trunk? what do you use to actually seal it? or just anytips on how to do it. thanks

most likely a crescendo 2k also if im gonna run 2 batts could i just keep my one i have up front then just run 2 batts in the back? the batt i have up front is some everstart idk model or anything

what would i need electrical wise for 2k? no idea how much good batts cost but id like to keep it as cheap as possible. it will be for daily. my car is a 2001 ford taurus, if someone could find what kind of alt it has that would be great i cant find it anywere.

i know its rated at 1500 but if you built the box accordingly how much would it take? would it like 2k maybe a little more?

also what kind of electrical would i need to run them at .5 ohms?

how loud would a dc xl 10 be compared to a 15" l7 both in optimal enclosures? the xl will be on 2k the l7 on 1k. im sure the xl would kill the l7 in sq but what about straight up spl? the l7 would be in the trunk sub up port back the xl would most likely be sealed off from the trunk. im sure the xl would be quite a bit louder i just need to hear it from other people cus in my head i couldnt imagine a 10" sub being as loud as my l7

i have someone on craigslist willing to sell me a hifonics bxi2610 for $260 anyone have any experience with them? how much power do they really put out? how would this compare to a crescendo 2k? ill most likely be pushing a xl 10 with it. would it do a good job?

im looking at getting some of these woofers. i know jacob has said they are all completely different subs, with there own pros/ cons. but i havent found anywhere where anyone says what the pros and cons are to each company. ive hear that OA plays lower and SA are generally louder. havent heard much about skar audio, except a couple people saying they lack in sq. no idea on if there is any truth to this though. so anyone who has owned all the subs what are the pros / cons to each company? please dont let this become a fanboy piss match. while im sure all 3 are amazing woofers, i just want to know as im sure many other people do, what the differences are in the subs. thanks

i only have 1 l7 and its in a custom box i made. and yes they are rated for 400 rms they have upgraded soft parts ( v2 soft parts on v1 motor/ basket) they probably would be on something like 1500 rms seeing ill only have big 3 and bigger battery done.
