I will be out the 13th for sure. If I don't get this fixed im ripping it out till i get everything electrical fixed. I don't wanna fry another amp. I'm gonna send them both into db-r if this problem isn't fixed. I might have the wire by the 13th too so we may be able to run that but I doubt I will have the batts. Def wanna get that murdermat in and see how much it helps

It said to plug the spade terminal into the 2nd opening to the right on my stock alt plug. I did that and didn't have any problems before. Also when I got my car back the vcm was touching the exaust. Checked all the wires and none are melted. I don't have a dmm at college but when I get home I'm gonna check the output at the alt

Idk if he fixed it or not. He said that if i brought it back to him he would fix it for free. He said it was throwing an alt code when he fixed my emmisions shit and some bs valve in the gas tank. Im gonna take it to them again and see what they say. I always go to the same place and they havn't fucked me before so Idk. I think it might have something to do with the srs light but im not sure

Any ideas? I'm going home tomorrow to do some work and I need ideas on what to check. I checked the grounds and they are all still tight.

I just checked the VCM that came with the alt and no cuts or shorts in that

I had my car taken in recently to do some work. When i picked it up the guy told me that I wired my VCM wrong for some reason. I fallowed the directions that Mechman sent me so I don't think I was wrong. A couple days after I got my car back the check engine and SRS light came on at the same time. I was going wait a little longer to take it back to my mechanic but now I have horrible voltage. I am running around 12.9 when at cruising speed. The only time it goes into the 14s is when I accelerate. When I am holding my speed it is right around 13. I was wondering what this could be from? I read that my SRS light can come on from my voltage being between 12.4 and 12.9 while running. I have an 2001 eclipse
