    Any one know the resonant frequency (Fs) of a skar audio VVX 8"?? Can't seem to find it anywhere.

      website states FMS 45.2hz. I always thought FMS and FS were the same thing. Maybe Im wrong?

      Well I saw the same thing but I compared it with the sa 8 v2 and the sa has a fms of 70.6htz and an fs of 34 htz

    Everything is in tack but for some reason the "solid sound" when you close the door went away. Didnt effect midbass tho still th same.

    Looking good Kyle! When I put some on mine I was impressed with how good it shut, before it sounded all hollow but after I put some on it sounded like a luxury car door ha lol. Keep an eye out on that tho because after a few months the hollow sound came back and it didnt sound the same =[... Idk you might have a different experience but hope for the best

    i dont know why but when i read this i literally LOL and thought of this edit* looks good steve! ive never fiberglassed before and ive always wanted to try it. when i do i hope to go with yours since it seems pretty straight forward, with no mixing and such.

      Just thought I'd ask because I'm not sure if it will be enough port area. A 6" is too much so I wanted to kno if a 4" would be enough

      How much power? What tuning frequency? How big is the box? Those are all things that come into play

      Gona feed them rated, maybe a lil more but not much. Tuning will be 36 or 37, my car peaks at 38. Box I will have to play with that a lil more but more than likely it will be around 2.5 give or take.

    First of all, I would like to thank Kyle and Laura for everything you guys have done. Extremely friendly, generous, and humble. Really appreciate the help guys!     Enjoying the new servers and site upgrade. I noticed that for mobile we have a new button that says moderating tools, click on it and it says delete. Now idk if that's supposed to be there or it's only for the mods and somehow got mixed in for normal members with the upgrades. It only does it on threads I started not other people's. I don't dare click the delete button out of fear of erasing my own thread lol so I figured I would ask. If its meant to be there then that's really nice, now we get control over our own threads!       14-16 is the rule of thumb on a slotted. That being said the Areo should be close to what was said above 9-12.

      Building a box for those tens? ;)

    The band pass idea thru the rear deck is a good idea but 4th orders are tricky to get right.

    I would stick with either the 2 8s OR the single 12, choose. I would advise to not put them together, especially because they are two complete different box designs.

    A lot of people will argue that what you're trying to do is a bad ideas because It can potentially cause cancelation. You might want to think about what you're about to do.
