  1. He wouldn't need the 360.2 for his application. He has master/ slave amps.... so he could do it without all the amps.
  2. So you're wondering how steve's knob works huh? RF 360.2... In the programming, it gives you the ability to adjust either subwoofer volume or the entire system volume.
  3. LOL... Dream system... 1 8'' sub bassracin in the 49.9 class @ 35 hertz.... N0 amps seen. No batteries seen. Just a badass little eight in a small box puttin out some serious numbers.
  4. Edit: Either .5 ohm or 2. You can't make 8 ohm. 2 D2 woofers = .5 or 2 1 d2 woofer = 1 or 4
  5. You can either run both amps: Each sub wired to 4 ohms Or One Amp: Both subs wired together @ 2 ohms.
  6. The best you can do is run each sub at 4 ohm off each amp.... Or one amp, 2 subs @ 2 ohms..... Alpine's amps are especially sensitive when it comes to the protect mode. No running those at 1 ohm, they will shut off.
  7. Looks really bad. Sell the Dual Headunit. Throw down $120 on a Pioneer DEH-4100UB. Or if you're feeling really good, an Alpine 9887 or 9886. Sell the two alpine Amps. Get an amp that puts out 1kw @ 1 ohm. Sell the two prefabbed boxes Build a nice ported box for 4 tens. 6 cubes @ 35 hertz. Looks like you have a fuse at the front battery. Add a second fuse right before the back battery. If anything at all.... This should be first and foremost. I honestly think you can do all that for under $400. But it requires that you sell off the stuff you have. I'm not gonna lie to you... I'm just being straight up with you. It'll work, but it's what I call jerry rigged. Edit: Most Dual Headunits only put out 2v..... For you to split an already lacking signal, it's just going to be a weak link in your system.
  8. Thing is, Nicotine will stay in your system for 3 days. Stop both for 3 days. Anything after that, tell yourself you're a pussy if you can't stop. It's all mental after 3 days. After 5 months, start dipping again if you feel the need to. You most likely won't though. Stay busy doing stuff and you'll forget about smoking. If the nicotine never leaves your system, there will always be a physical addiction.
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passive_radiator_(speaker) He's using the subwoofer to push smaller passive radiators.
  10. Gotta stop both. Nicotine is nicotine.
  11. Innovative. Try it out. We can all tell you it won't sound good and this and that, but you won't ever know till you actually try it.
  12. You woulda done the same as the rider or the cop? LOL
  13. If dude wasn't in a uniform, I'd never pull over for him. LOL.
  14. Where do you live? Shipping is ridiculous.
  15. Get 200 Feet of Damplifier pro. Should be enough to fully cover every surface and double the surfaces that need to be doubled. Good Luck.
  16. Headunit turning off before the amp does. The stinger Pop stopper also puts a delay on that.
  17. Nice. Yeah, in the vid the camera wasn't capturing much excursion or anything.... I bet those subs are liking the extra power.
  18. Seemed like it was tuned a little high. Any plans in the future besides some panels? You like the way it sounds daily?
  19. Congrats man. Respectable number. What are you tuned to?
  20. Wow..... Thats pretty sick. Big dude like that getting across the lake is really impressive.
  21. Happy Birthday Doug!
  22. Test the grounds with a multimeter to see how good they actually are. If all else fails, the stinger pop stopper will work.
  23. I was just giving my opinion like all the previous 260 posts in the thread. I could honestly care less what Steve does with his truck. If he wants to paint it pink, who are any of us to stop him? "Not my truck, but if it were mine, I'd throw the air shocks in it" That's all I was saying.
  24. I like that. That shade is kinda what I wanted to see in a photoshop. I posted twice a rootbeer/ Copper color, but it was overlooked both times.
