There is supposed to be an sti version for next year on the brz but I wouldn't expect much since the first reports on motor trend was that aftermarket companies were having a hard time finding room to make a kit for a single turbo The goal for this project was to keep a VERY low center of gravity which was accomplished but in sacrifice for power Motor trends review for the brz was that it had excellent handling but who really cares if its top engine will still be a boxer 4 -
Not really sure what you mean on the RCA question since the 4 channel amp needs an input for each channel but about grounding to the bat neg is the best ground possible so that would be a good place to ground to Actually I have heard that grounding to the alt case is a slightly better ground but how many of those do you have in a cooler? Lol

2 10s on 1000 watts for $277 all said and done is pretty damn good if ya ask me
-
http://www.sonicelec...s-HFi1500D.html this amp could work for ya if you are willing to save to spend that much and get an amp kit and a loc (line out converter) so we can just tap into your factory speakers instead of you needing to buy a new hu too Edit: most any of these loc's would work http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i331_line-out-converters.html

yeah single 4 ohm :/ that means you have to look for an amp that will make power at 2 ohms instead of 1 ohm so that will be more expensive unfortunately
-
Hey you can figure out the ohms without a dmm just take them out of the box and check to see if the basket looks like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/pictures_new.php?id=38105&picture_id=793697 or if it looks like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/pictures_new.php?id=38104&picture_id=793662 notice the number of push terminals is what you are checking for

Double post noob.. haha

On sonic it says that the tens are 400 rms but it could be wrong. I just suggested that 800 watt pioneer since i didn't really want to suggest to someone whose first system it is to overpower the subs but if you have first hand experience then i will not question that since I have none. Hifonics amps is a good idea like the BRZ1200.1d http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23548_Hifonics-Brutus-BRZ1200.1D.html which is def. a better amp than my pioneer one, it just costs more obviously
-
well why dont ya get your lazy ass off of infected and earn yourself some more money so you can buy Chode69's dc neos haha any ideas for a couple subs and amp for around $200-300?
-
Obviously you are looking for something to put together a very cheap system and to do that you will probably need to buy used And if you buy those earthquakes we can make a good ported box for ya. Or with whatever woofers you go with for that matter. But I think he's looking for other ideas for a system that could be as cheap as this but I just can't think of anything..

RCA Cable Recommendations

Or even something like these should be pretty decent and reasonably priced http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17720_Kicker-ZI25-09ZI25.html- 17 replies

I believe Boston also has a changeable vc and soft parts separately but if your idea would work better then I'd be all for it Just as long as the changeable parts doesn't affect the performance negatively, if it did then I would rather buy a conventional sub and treat it right to avoid needing to replace anything

Pro7 replied to alenv10's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
You should add some more port to that... You have like 8in of port per ft Edit: 6.9in per... Even worse but nice rendering How much power are you sending them? -
