  1. Based on your other post I would start from scratch and get two matching subs and build a ported box to specs if it will fit. If not stick with sealed or just one sub ported .
  2. You can but it wont sound right and wont be to its full potential. Sell that box and build your own !
  3. I used a metal bowl and a heat gun. Just rotate the pipe while giving it a little pressure and when it gets to the amount of flare you want dump ice water down the pipe to sort of lock it and place. Wait a few mins for it to cool then lift it off the bowl. I only flared the inside of mine. I would have done the front but the bowl I used wouldn't have given me enough flare to mount it. Hope this helps!
  4. That's a sick box and a steal at 100 bucks. Good luck with the sale man!
  5. Hey go to parts express and go to their factory buy outs they had some 6.5s real cheap on there! Like under 15 a piece im pretty sure. Hope I helped! Ill try and find a link real quick .... http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=299-155
  6. It just looks like he said he has a 75 amp alt but then says he doesn't. Maybe im wrong. Sorry guys! Lol
  7. Ok how many amps is your alternator and how many batteries do you have? And if you got the room it seems like a 4th order would move some air based on the things I see on here.
  8. Depending on how much power your running your going to need extra batteries and possibly a high output alternator.
  9. Alright that's a little better lol. You could probably pull it off with around half that depending on where your amps are
  10. What orion said. Just use regular speaker wire. Some 12 gauge might even be over kill. And why do you need so much? But check online for some fosgate stuff. My local shop gave me some to wire up my box.
  11. Yea the drivers door looks better with the flat color. Nice job on the doors! Can't wait till I get a new car to try something like that lol
  12. I would go with ported for the output and I would recomend building your own box depending on the guys pricing. If the guy is going to try and sell you a sealed so he doesn't have to make a ported box im sure corners will be cut during the process of constructing it. Give it a shot on your own, its s good learning experience!
  13. Go to the search option and search " wall help" and click the one that says wall help and every thing you asked is in there. Good luck with the build!
  14. Yes and 1k for the other. Your gonna love the new sound!
  15. I hear ya man. My girlfriends bank called her mom today and somebody in Russia stole her account number or something and drained her account to 0 dollars. Bank said they'd get it back in there within a week though. Crazy how one minute you can have everything and next you got nothing
  16. http://m.dealextreme.com/p/car-charger-sound-control-music-led-decoration-light-black-101533 Would this work?
  17. Im tuned into the answer for this because I got plans for a new box for my girlfriend
  18. Its not led but I used a neon tube I bought from a local auto store and it could be synced to the bass with a sensitivity knob. Only down fall is getting two of them to be perfect timing.
  19. Well if you can get some kenwood stuff cheap id get some 12s. I'm not sure of the model number but I installed 2 of the 12s that are 400 rms each and was only putting half power and they got pretty loud for what it was and sounded very clean. And audiosavings.com has them for 50 each but if you can get cheaper do that.
  20. Im not too sure but if your talking about getting a high out put alt over a dd-1 or better amp of some sort because of budget I think that's odd. Most ho alts are expensive that I've seen. Id suggest maybe a different amp and dd-1 is well worth it. You could even get it and charge ppl you know some money to tune their systems to help pay it off.
