mattc3366 replied to skaraudio's topic in SKAR AUDIO - (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)
Got my 6x9s installed yesterday . Awesome set of speakers . Love the quality of materials used and they sound great. And a+ on the screw terminals. Will be amping them shortly so ill be sure to leave some more feedback when they have more power to them. Thanks for an awesome product -

Skaraudio.com has the displacement specs under enclosure specifications for the sub.

*B-Stock* SKAR Inventory For Sale

Great products here at a good price. Ordered my ma-8s b stock a few weeks ago. By the way they looked I thought they might have accidentally sent me new ones! Suspension still very tight on them too. Will be keeping my eye out for possibly two more 8s. -
Ordered some rcas from him. Fastest shipping I think I've ever gotten before. Came from California to Rhode island in 2 or 3 days. Will do business again.

How to stop my CD player skipping?

I have the same problem with my radio. I might try doing the rubber washer thing and see if it works. -
Thanks Rusty!!

Dam that's sick. If I ever lean twords performance / speed over a giant system, some 10s like that would be a good choice. -
Deff a good buy. They are loud! Need to do some cutting to my door to get them to fit though

I painted it. I just got one sub out. Lol. Looks like I should have waited more than 3 hours to put my subs in after paint.
-
I tried! Lol. I have all the screws out and I tried to play some music full tilt and it rotated the sub itself but not the gasket.
-
The rubber piece along the edge of the sub that goes over the screw holes is stuck to my box . Tried prying it up and nothing works. Any other suggestions? Subs are obsidian audio 15s thanks

Lol here in RI if you don't have evs your system isn't "cool". I used to have two in my back dash. Took them out one day and spilled motor oil on them. But that's another sad story. Good side is the new looking one still works but just sits in my room lol

My advice is if you wanna learn more about car audio do not have the shop do anything. Build your own box and get subs from any reputable mentioned on this site. Install your own speakers and all the money you save from avoiding the shop you could pick up a dd1 and set your gains with it. And then you have it for future systems and you can help out your friends and possibly charge them and make some easy cash

which is better to build a box out of.
