I had this aero custom made for my last car. Unfortunatly my car blew it's engine, and I had to get a new car. Due to space, I am no longer able to use this aero. This port was built by my teammate Jodie Allport. Rob Wolcott (thorshammer) used to run an "alligator eating" port built by Jodie. I'm sure many of you have seen that one haha. It's 8" in diameter, and 18" long. Flared on one end, and flanged on the other. Would be Ideal for a pair of 12's, a 15, an 18, any many other combinations. $55 shipped anywhere in cont. US.

yeah but thats mad ugg. if youre really careful, you shouldnt have any problem just mounting the sub on the outside.

its really that simple, just take a good amount of time to make sure your surround doesnt touch...

i would love to run 2k, i just wanna be sure i can handle it. I will have a 35ah AGM in back, all 1/0 big 3 and power/grounds.

i usually use any cheap primer, and then some spray on bedliner.

HONESTLYYYYY i just remove the airbox and throw on a k&n filter. Gives you a nice growl, maybe 1 horsepower haha.

and also, the way i look at it, after voltage drop and rise, 1K ends up being like 600-700

Um, I gave my subs twice rms and softparts went after 1 year. Coils were still pretty, but 1K to any sub(clean or not) is not a good recommendation. It's like saying, 12 sq in of port for ANY sub is perfect. okay, maybe not ANY sub, i wouldnt give a sony or dual 1k. But i ran 1k to a P3 for about 8 months, never had a problem.

not sure how many people feel the same as me, but I will give ANY sub 1k clean and feel comfortable.

i have a 2005 subaru impreza. i think the stock alt is 120a. With stock alt, big 3, AGM batt, and multiple grounds, what is the most amount of watts YOU guys would feel safe runing on daily music?

okay, so i run myh door speakers off my head unit, i do not have them amped. My EQ oh the HU is very extensive. I can set the HPF and LPF for each door speaker. On each speaker, i keep the bass at 0 (nothing below 150hz), mid at 3, and treble at 8. The subwoofer will be run through a separate pre-out. As long as i dont run any bass through my door speakers, do i really need to "set EQ to flat" when i add a sub amp and use my DD-1? Theres so many different EQ settings that it takes about 20 or 30 minutes to set it up the way I have it.

that i have always been satisfied with running my door speakers off the head unit? gets loud and clean enough for me...
