haha, that shit wangin son, good job, ya i built a box by mtx's specs for my 5500 but threw a 8000 in it n damn at the lows @ 37-38htz tuning is unreal, acually hit lows better with one sub inverted ported than 2 downfired sealed, but they do play lows somethin awesome, wished i could find a place were i can full tilt my system with windows down to show what it will do, all my vids have been with windows up

to tell the truth if i had the money ied take every course of that class, i mean i can learn from step by step pics pritty good but nothin like havein someone show you face to face like fiberglassing, i wanna try a good amount of work, n stuff, a guy on here went there n i think all that money includes the equitment n supplys u use, they give u foam n let u skulpt it n then fiberglass it n make somethin out of it i got pritty much a full wood/metal shop worth of tools here but no one to really be here to show me how to use em n what knot, dads always busy n aint got the time, n i dont want to break anything, got damn nere 2000 or more router bits @ around $20-$50 each bit, table saws, stand up glass saw, grinders, skill saws, all kinds of ish, i even got a thing that u put in a battery drill n it opens n closes like a crescent wrench on bolts so u can take stuff out, they dont make em anymore n all these tools are mine when dad passes away n for me not to kno how to use most of it ima be up shit creek lol but imo if u really into it n got the cash i would do it

ground ur rcas at the headunit n ground loop noise goes away, and they make a splitter for usb's, i put one in my friends f550 on a double din, i think he got it at radioshack or walmart, has one in 3 out i love pioneer headunits, alot of features n what knot but on the whine noise just take a wire, rap around the outer piece of the rca connector that goes around the male rca plug, and then ground it at the headunit, u only need to do one rca on each channel, it doesnt matter left or right, one side of front, one side of rear, n one side of sub heres pics i made take wire take rca strip wire around 2.5-3'' to get a tight connection rap around rca neg and plug into headunit(i used a 3way xover i had layin around with rca inputs just for pics then attach to headunits ground wire n wala this does not void warranty or damage headunit due to rcas have a small amount of ground current to help signal flow, i did a install befor n forgot to ground the amp n the amp would come on but go str8 to protect n i was like wtf, so i looked and no ground hooked up, hook ground up works, so this shows the small amount of ground current flowin threw rcas, kinda how those rcas that light up only have pos wires cause of the grounding that goes from headunit to amp helps ground it so when it gets power light comes on hope this helps

u got a second battery? or atleast the big 3 done, or a good starter battery? voltage helps alot, my mids n highs amp in my geo drops my voltage by a few 10ths when i just play it what will help in ur question will be what size wire, im guessin ur runnin ur subs @ 1ohm, do u have second battery, do u have big 3 most the time the headunit starts actin funny is due to current draw, or somethin is bass ackwards somewere wireing wise but all in all hope u get this fixed, i hate when stuff tares up of mine n takes forever to fix somethin simple, lol

real neon runs from a transformer that boosts the 12v dc to, well mine boosts it to 9500v ac, and pulls like 10amp of current, but ive ran mine about 3 or 4 hrs str8 with car off n radio full tilt n no dead battery, if u get a big enough battery it takes a while to kill it, i had a duralast gold 1050amp battery in my honda with 2 mtx 4500 1544's ran from a mtx 500d and a stinger 1f cap wired to 1ohm on a 2ohm stable amp n my battery stayed fine for about 3 months, so i dought neon will kill it but led is the way to go, a cathode is kinda like a led, but i like leds better cause with multi colored kits u get leds that have red, green, n blue in em that make all colors, even white, and lets u make em chase n alternate n what knot i might get me some led bars later on

ya ive seen this, take cornstarch n water, n mix it together n pour it onto a speaker n play a 100-150htz test tone n watch it go n ive seen ppl fill a pool full of this stuff n walk on it, its a solid while in motion, n liquid when at rest would make a cool science project for the kiddies at school

most of the time ppl are wanting navi n blue tooth, not many ppl still do systems around here, but i unno in ur area, if i had a shop ied sell, alpine, jvc, pioneer, kenwood, kicker, memphis, stinger, hugfen makes some killer wire to, periphal, and metra install kits, dc, sundown, fi, soundstream, alphasonic, phoenix gold i unno what else i would run jl if i had a shop but its to damn expencive n ppl think that thats the best they are when theres alot better and alot cheaper out there, im not bashing jl but ive seen better, and worse what helps a shop is the connectors u got, ive seen a guy do a headunit install in like 20min, they make some connectors that go over wires n crimp onto em, n then u crimp some male blade terminals to the deck wires, n then just plug in n go, works for a quick clean job, but still makes a diff on sales, if u can do fast, some ppl dont want to wait ive done some installs on friends cars n had to custom make some stuff for it to work, like the doors in my friends saturn vue car, when i replaced her front speakers with phoenix gold rsd 6&1/2's i had to make a plate for it to mound to, and it turned out good scosh makes good wire n what knot, stinger has some good connectors, or if u want cheaper get soundquest by stinger, same quality but a little cheaper, or knu konspets if it was me ied try to find a company that made good rcas, speaker wire, connectors, n fuse n dist blocks n buy all from them its kinda hard to have all the best stuff n ppl not kno bout it n be like "thats some fleamarket shit" when its better than mainstream bs, but good luck on the shop man, i want to own one some day
