ok I finally got my box done, and installed both of my subs and amps, batteries. (just to test the box) it is loud (to the ear) it flexes the whole truck. it sound good. but how can I know if i'm using the full potential of my subs/amps or its is OK but could be better??? I do not know anyone around with a termlab. but I wouldn't know what numbers to expect either.

in my town they once laugh at my AQ amps and Fi subs. and I was told to get something real like kicker or audiobahn. **** I also think DC stands for Direct Current.

No idea what you mean. explain? he is suggesting you to get projectors, and retrofit them (like the morimoto minis) and not to just install the HID's in the oem reflectors.

that might be. I just think its funny how the doors get separated like half an inch from the door frame. and in the camera its just not showing.

I just installed both of my subs. and they really flex my vehicle, way more than expected. however I'm trying to record it and it just doesn't show. I'm using a Sony dcr-dvd610 and a sony dst-tx1(hd) and none of them show flex. the dcr a little more but nothing compared to what really is. my question is: IS THERE ANY TRICKS ?? or should I just try some other cameras??? should I aim for higer resolution???? lower??? thanks

its not actually bottoming out. I'm going easy on the volume. I do not have a build log yet, but I will soon make one.

I ran out of power wire. (truck is longer than it seems LOL) I just order some more. meanwhile I decided to start to break in the subs one at a time. only one sub playing in the video. in the enclosure made for both subs (so its huge for one) only one amp on stock alt running off main battery. it actualy flexes pretty good. the camera doesn't show. some bass is better than no bass!!! http://youtu.be/qk2FJXda-UA?hd=1

Q its more oriented towards SQ (but it can get really loud) BL its more of an SPL sub (but it can get pretty musical) I had to do the same decision not to long ago. went with the BL and I Love it!

go for it!!!! definately improving..... either Q's or BL's will be a lot better!

Fi subs are awesome. but it depends. what are you considering??? and what do you currently have???

forester? it should be a fairly simple retrofit. let me know how it turns out if you do it. look for morimoto retrofit in youtube, there are plenty of videos!

I dont know what car are these going into, but with those lenses probably your lighting pattern would suck. my brother stock battery got stolen! he's got a 2003 tahoe 5.3L I had a xs 925 around and we tried it as his main battery (and only) and it amazed me it works flawlessly, I mean for such a tiny battery, it starts the truck right away. I guess is all about the CCA. thanks XS for such great products.
