  1. Not sure how different the 99 vs. 06 trunks are but 6 cubes in an Altima is no problem.
  2. Buy a one inch 4 hole carb spacer, see if you notice a difference. It may also help your stumbling issue.
  3. There are adjustments... idle/air, jetting, squirter, vac secondary Carb jetting = the "jets" inside the carb controls the amount of fuel used. Holley's are normally fat right out of the box (meaning to rich, to much fuel). The stumble or backfire is from the squirter curcuit. I would tell you to look up all the carb tuning you can.
  4. Before you go the cam route start with the basics... 1. Intake (which you already got) 2. Headers ( equal length gives more torque which is what you want on the street) 3. a carb spacer (one inch four hole, going from no spacer to an open spacer gained me one tenth. But going from a open spacer to a four hole was a tenth and a half. So I gained 2.5 tenths from a 35 dollar spacer). 4. bump your timing up by 2 to 4 degrees 5. Carb jetting will gain good hp and mpg Doing all of this I went from 14.7 to 14 seconds in the quarter. Once you do all that, then its time for a set of heads, then cam.
  5. There's a tv show called Wipeout. Its on right now on ABC (atleast for the east coast). It is freakin funny as hell!!!! A must watch!!! Edit: Wednesday at 8 Pm

  7. Yep Saturday sounds awesome. We all can work together and pack out all the orders in no time. edit: No Sunday though, Jacob might get cut.
  8. Just wondering if the subs suck in the smoke from the amp. Or was the smoke form a sub too...
  9. Didn't say you were flaming, I just would have contacted whoever needed to be contacted first. It could be that there was something wrong with the amp and it took one of your coils with it. Or it could be you had a bad coil that fried the amp. Chris will be able to tell what happened when he looks at it. How close to the port was the amp?
  10. I think before you come on here posting this you should have contacted db-r. Chris has one of the highest reputations for fixing amps to better then new standards. I am sure he will stand behind his warranty. What ohm coils do you have?
  11. Hey Jacob I sent you a PM but your box is full!!!! But really people when you email Jacob don't just say my amp doesn't work. The more detail you give the better. Also give your real name not screen name.
  12. Not sure why Sundown amps like the cheaper RCA's but they do. I know a lot of people had issues running the highend RCA's, but as soon as they switched there were not more issues. Jacob can explain it better.
  13. That would be a no on the folded horn unless you want to wall it. As far as a regular ported box a common chamber will be better. The size you listed should give you all the room you need. Double up all the sides you can with some good bracing.
  14. Yes, it will take. but it you have doubts you could always turn the amp down some. That will also help to keep the bad clipping monster away.
  15. You can parallel your dual 2 sub down to 1 ohm and get all 2000 watts. You would need 1 fuse holder at the front battery and one after the back battery with a 200 amp anl fuse (search ebay, any one on ebay will work well).
