  2. 1. South Park 2. Wayy funny and creative. They touch on alot of current events. Also has won many awards. 3. 22
  3. Ditto on the slangin drugs thing...that seems to work pretty good for alot of people around my town. For me I just researched and saved my money. Worked some high paying jobs in the summer and such. Got a job at a shop and purchased alot of my equipment with the discount. Of course that's all back when I didn't pay rent, insurance, nor did I have car payments. In college now and it's a little harder to save the money but I'm building my funds back up and saving for the next thing...
  4. Looks like you posted some links..my bad! So is it a no-no to run HID's in a projector housing?
  5. Those look pretty damn nice Ernesto!! So the HID's look pretty good in the projector housings? I'm planning on buying some HID's along with some projector housings for my truck. Is there a good website where I can find HID kits and such? Thanks!!
  6. Dealers are not fun to deal with, that's for sure. I bought my S10 at Hertz a few months ago. It was the NICEST rig I could find in town, exactly what I had wanted...low miles, super clean in and out, no wear and tear etc. They actually had it priced real well too. I couldn't believe how well the whole deal went, real nice people and they threw in tons of extras too. I think the key is to do tons of research on the vehicle. Check out carfax, find the blue book price, keep coming back and looking things over on the vehicle, etc. I found some very tiny scratches and the common oil leaks here and there from the engine--just little things like that will help get the price dropped. Sorry you had a bad deal, but don't rule dealers out completely. However, the private party is a better way to go if you find something you really want.
  7. I did a 149 with the windows down, older AC meter. 2 12CVRS ported to 35Hz. S10 Xcab enclosure facing up.
  8. Haha, I figured everyone had seen all Steve's vids by now! Here is the link: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/videos/sh...itisknockin.wmv Thanks!
  9. Hi I'm looking for the song played at the end of the shitisknockin video. The song that's played for the guy with the brown hat and goatee. Thanks!
  10. I use BassBox and can help ya with figuring out displacement and port length if necessary.
  11. And then what (feat. Mannie Fresh) by Young Jeezy
  12. Anything JL Audio is great I think :^ Eclipse, Alpine, Rockford, Focal, Boston Acoustics, and Crossfire are some other favorites.
  13. First song on the Kings of Crunk CD...Kings of Crunk Intro by Lil Jon.
  14. Ok, the sealed box is 2 cubes after subwoofer displacement. I don't know if it would need bracing or not, but if so I can add bracing displacement in if necessary. The box would be 12 x 36 x 11.5. For the ported box I did 3 cubes after port and woofer displacement. No bracing added yet. I wasn't really sure about what size ports or how many you would use so I just entered 2 4" ports with the flared option. It's 15 x 36 x 14.25. Ports on the side because I don't know if you could fit them on the front or not. I'm given a length of 16.25" (rounded from 16.18") for the ports, tuning of 35hz (random) I'm sure the box styles and stuff can be refined or changed if needed. You'll have to pick some dimensions that would work best for you. So the sealed box would be pretty simple and straightfoward. I'll post a graph up also of the two boxes being compared. Also, if this looks weird to anyone, let me know as I may have done something wrong. Red-sealed/Orange-ported
  15. I could help ya a bit with the box, sealed/ported etc. I use BBPRO 6 and it helps tremendously if you want to go ported because it easily figures out the displacement of everything including subs, bracing, ports etc to give you an accurate tuning. For sealed, how would you want the box? subs up, facing back etc.. The program has that model of sub in the database for a reponse graph but it doesn't give the displacement of it.
  16. trackitdown.net is a great sitey to find new hardcore dance tunes and such.
  17. My vote goes for Boston Acoustics. Love the Pro and Z series. Focal and MB Quart are incredible as well.
  18. Crimping works fine for radio installs and the like if you use Klein-style crimpers to crimp. However, soldering and heatshrinking is worth the time and way cooler!
  19. Yes. j/k j/k Yea, now that it's morning and I've had some sleep, and I'm not drinking anymore....it would be sort of a cruel thing to do.
