some people make me laugh.. when i sat in this guys car it sounded like a 39-40. non sealed off 2 xfl's on a ct1400.1 with no electrical and bad grounds dropping to 11.0 volts. Now he texts me saying that he opened his trunk and is way louder then my car. Which is sealed. Has a better box. Twice the power. Twice the electrical. 120sq feet more deadener. Either i got crazy cancelation or someone is just being silly and over exaggerating.

You've already been through an amp and 2 subs. Don't blow his lol. Me personally, I wouldn't waste my time on him. Hell, also I wouldn't want somebody with a louder setup then me putting me down just because they're louder then me.

Have you got your car metered yet? How do you know you're doing a 148 or are you going off the ear-o-meter?

I do not know I'm doing a 148… But i know its easily twice as loud as when i did a 144.8. and paper tricks are a sure sign of getting louder. Beisdes the 15+ experienced people who have all told me it sounds like a LOUD 47 or a solid 48 all day long. Im not claiming any numbers. Im just angry that he comes out of nowhere with a high 30's system and trys to tell me how he was WAYYY louder then my car now.
