  1. SOO... How do you guys feel about clipping indicators on our fav amps bass knob? Are the all the same? Are they actually accurate?

On my Q1200d I feel like it's relatively accurate. As soon as it starts to blink red that means it's slightly clipping. When it just turns red completely it's really clipping. And what I hear compared to what the light is doing seems right.

True story. I'm fighting myself on my set up right now. I'm pretty sure I've got it perfect. I don't hear distortion or see stressed subs. But certain songs and notes I see a dim clipping light come on. And I set everything retarded conservative on my gains headunit and filters. Subs don't heat up. Voltage stays good and I don't hear anything bad. I feel like this is a "it's not broke don't fix it" moment

in my setup blinking red was fine, solid red I could hear the difference and the subs sure did get smelly much quicker. IMO they are pretty accurate.
