  1. What are the box specs?
  2. Yeah these will be in a 4th ported through rear deck ltr in the yr. Nice! I'll be sure to follow the build. Still trying to figure out if I I want to seal my box forward into the cabin or do a 4th order. Or hell just recone and build a wall haha What box were your's in before.
  3. Man you got to love it when a port is bigger than the woofers in the box. Sweet man.
  4. Yeah these will be in a 4th ported through rear deck ltr in the yr.
  5. Those are beast subs...and beast amps. Sweet video bro.
  6. Here's what I'm started with...4 cubes and one 6" aero. http://www.floridaspl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21586
  7. Thats what my Massive DMX has for a cone.

  9. awaiting more info...strappable, how low ohm wise is it stable to???
  10. Looks good build it...
  11. Wow that is tuff looking for 1000 watts
  12. lol because its the box you built, its the box everyone should build. Umm I didn't build that box genius. By the way almost any idiot could get loud with 12,000 watts. You are not doing anything special in your vehicle, and you can not compare your setup to anyone else, esp. when they dont have the airspace to try to do what you are.
  13. 4 cubes total with a 6" aero... This is 3.5 cubes with 1500 watts. http://www.youtube.com/user/rsfazeowns?feature=mhee
  14. Because of the depth of your box it will have to be side ported. 14" long of port since it is a 6" aero you need around 6" of clearance in back imo. That is why my box is 20" deep. Also either double baffle both the front and back long pieces or add some bracing that will hold the port and strengthen the box. Look at the pics put in your thread. You dont have to get that fancy ,but you see the port is gonna be braced and the box is braced also by that design. The box in the video I link, it is very similar to mine but is a single baffle, no bracing and his box flexs.
  15. Your sub woofer displacement is off. You have two subs so total displacement would be .32 not .16. You also have no Double baffle or bracing accounted for.
  16. Your box is too small with those dimensions and only 1 6" aero, it would have to be 18" long to be tuned to 34hz and you box would only have 2.87 cubes without any extra bracing in it and only one double baffle. If you only add 2 more inches of depth your problems would be over...you would have 3.4 cubes and it would be alot easier, you could Double baffle and brace properly.
  17. Some more: http://www.youtube.com/user/rsfazeowns?feature=mhee
  18. one 6" aero is pretty small for even 3.5 cubes. i had two 6"s in mine. One is enough for loud daily:
  19. This is my new box being made: Specs are 3.7 cubes after displacement (34 W x 15.25 H x 20 D), One 6" aero, tuned to 32-33hz.
  20. Most box's you see slam with two 12's have close to these specs: 3.5 - 4 cubes of air space One 6" aero port or 40-60 square inches of port Tuned between 30-35 hz, I prefer 32 hz myself
  21. Your killin me...lol
  22. awaiting more info...strappable, how low ohm wise is it stable to???
  23. One 6" aero from parts express should do nicely.
