  1. Just wanted to drop some positive feedback for him. I didnt really buy anything from him, HOWEVER.... (Wasnt sure where to put member feedback) I found him via the forums, and asked if he would tune my setup with his DD-1 and CC-1. He agreed, met up with me the next day, stood in the pouring rain, and helped me out. He also gave me a demo of "big boy power" and man, his shit slams! Anyhow, great guy, and thanks to the forums I found somebody somewhat local to me I can do car audio with.
  2. I clapmed mine @ around 567 @3.6-7 ohms with rise included in those numbers. I never had 1 issue with mine, I would full blast for hours at a time, never shut off, never poped a fuse. Decent amp for the money spent 2years ago and 0 knowledge on 2010 car auio equipment. However, if your looking new, shell out the extra cash and get something better. Kenwood website says it pulls a max of 57amps....
  3. Cool! Thanks for the replys and video links! Thats pretty much what I was looking for! Those pretty much sold it for me! Thanks again!
  4. I'm all about top notch CS. Most will pay extra just for that reason, myself included. Not trying to make that a majority factor in these questions. Its like a full service car wash, some will open your door for you and call you air/mam, drive the car for you, unscrew your antenna etc.., but when you get in and drive away, you notice they didnt even move the mats to vacuum....Others don't do any of that, yet the employee is on his hands and knees cleaning the spokes of your rims.... Bad analogy, I know... However, I was meaning more towards the product itself side of things. Again, just questions from an under-informed consumer trying to make the best choice in available products..
  5. I'm curious what makes your product THE battery for the car audio world? What sets your product apart from everybody else? Why should we spend the 300+ bucks on this product, when XXX battery's carry the same "characteristics" but for a cheaper price and can be bought/fixed/returned from the local store? Now, to play devils advocate: Why do your battery's "swell" and "deform" from normal charging applications built in our cars/trucks/etc.., from the factory? I do comprehend the idea behind a HO alt, "the gases forming inside, etc..," however, most normal applications with them adhere to factory charging voltage limits, even though they are 2-3 times more powerful. Just a few questions from an uninformed consumer. Not trying to make this a debate, vr thread. I simply what to know why I should spend the top notch money on this product vrs others...
  6. AFAIK, States differ regarding the law, however, as long as you have EITHER: Both side mirrors OR a rear view. Its not illegal. -Id def. check into your states law though, don't take some random internet guys advice
  7. Does anybody even know how to tell if a deck can shuffle 15+gigs worth on music in a single folder on a flash drive? My kenwood deck suffers the same fate as yours OP, only will shuffle 250 songs/folder. Have to manually change the folders Quite annoying when you have 30gigs worth of music...
  8. Just throwing this out there, I actually have the newer 9105D, clamped it w/ a calabrated Fluke 336. Anyhow, I clamped mine @ around 567-570...@ 3.7ohm after rise on a 50hrz 0db tone.(1 L5 wired@2ohm). Edit: Dunno how clean it was, sounded fine though.
  9. So, I have a dual chamber box otw, and was curious if this amp can utilize both speaker input channels to achieve a final 1ohm load, or if I need to drill and jumper all coils for just 1 set of wires vr 2. Thanks for your help!
  10. I also would like to see a battery bank kit. ( With instructions ) And/or include Battery tie down box options. ( IE>., Kit comes with a "box" designed to hold XXX numbers of battries XXX size, dunno if thats feasiable though ) A "Big" wire crimp kit. ( With instructions ) Wire "Clean up" kits. (Tie downs, zip ties, heat shrink, rubber cups, terminals, etc..,) Different gauge wire reducers "packs" Affordable prices for the average Joe Plumber
  11. Yea, I would love to have this feature on their website. Im sure sales would really increase for them from us less knowledgeable people. About the Group 34 battery for me- I have a Yellow top G34 under there now, and well, it slides around in the battery tray, not a "perfect, like a glove" fit. WHich makes me wonder if the G 34 is really the size for it.... Whichhhh is where this very useful website app would come in very handy dandy!
  12. Just curious if you guys are in the works for adding one of those apps that allows you to select the year, make, and model of your ride... Then show what will fit under the hood. Yes, I know tape measure, read, buy.... However, How do you measure the terminal height with the hood closed? I have arc'd the hood before, yay for flames coming out under the hood at a stop light. Boo for inattention to detail.. Tried to email, but no responses... I would like to upgrade mine... (03 Jeep GC Limited) Just curious also, I read you always tell people to charge the batts up before install, cause they were sitting on the shelf.... How come you don't charge them before they ship?
