  1. i started the drawing before you posted again, psp only do 17" long usable 18" overall in a single length so here is what you will have
  2. if you can go deeper thats better for a straight aero or bend the aero and you can make it longer in what you have
  3. rule of thumb aero 9-13sq" per ft slot 12-16sq" per ft tihs does not apply to all subs as a sub with 5mm xmas doesnt need as much port a sub with 20mm xmas in the same net volume youll need at least 3 4" aeros in 4cuft also the bracing displacement allows for internal baffle and bracing
  4. 2 12" use more net then most single 15" And I've never not fitted a single 15 box through a trunk opening, but I've built many dual 12 in trunk Most 12 I've done are 1.5-2.5net each, So your around 3-5 net for 2 v's 3-3.5 More weight More output More cost as you need to buy 2 subs, In the end it's your setup and your money Just lission to a few proper installs(not prefab) And pic something you like the sound of and get that, As you have plenty of space the options are endless, just make sure you happy with what you get and like the sound of it, Edit My vote still lies with single 15 on 1500rms Like the T2 on T1500 Z15v3 on a sax1500
  5. If she lissions to all types idd tune it to the flattest response I could, so it will be low, but will sound good, it will be more of a sq setup, But if she want a loud and not low 35-37 will do that if not even up 42 Up to 42 will still get low just not real low
  6. I use glue and a T-nail gun (may be called something different of there) Never had an issue, The only screws I use is in the dowel braces
  7. That's 12cuft gross Your easily fit a single 15, you'll even get 2 in there If you want to stick to known brands you cant go wrong with the typeR either 2x 12 or single 15" Myself with 1k Idd look at single RF T2 15" in 3.2-3.5net on either a T1000 or T1500, You'll spend between 7-1000 depending where you get it from, It all top quality gear that won't let you down And you'll still have plenty of trunk space left
  8. 2x 10" in cone area is half way between a single 12" and single 15" In my option post some meserments, of what you have, and what your willing to give up,(yes both please) A $$$ figure on what you want to spend(and be honest there's no shame here) What amp or power you wish to use, What speakers you have and amp for them, And box building skills, After we no all of this well be able to help you out a bit better,
  9. Output pasted 40 will pick up if you give 6th a try,(best of both) Did you model it first or just pick recommended sealed and double it for ported Other then that nice build, Do you plane on testing it on termlab
  10. idd build 2cuft gross sealed or 2cuft net ported if there 4ohm coils idd say no way home entertainment as most cheep stuff is 8ohm and they look like pioneer infinite baffle fitted to mid 90's fords with premium sound
  11. youll easly fit a single 15" in you just need to measure the space you have and chose a sub that works well in that space the last hatch i did with a 15" was wedge box side ported
  12. my is like that as i run a factory hu that drops bass off as the volume goes up, so as to have any bass beyond 2/5 up thats what is requires (if i turn hu to +3bass i clip at 17,18 and 19 out of 50 but then it stop clipping until 42-43) with flat eq i get no clipping until 42-43.
  13. pics might help i thought you only had 2 15" in that box As for port, I would suggested 280-320sq"@37-42hz secondly does it do it all the time or only on some notes, how did you set your dd1 0 on hu and -10 on amp i un mine at 0 and -3, but on you setup youll def need -10
  14. you shouldest have any noise, What you're probably hearing is you subs bottoming out or clipping, due to an over size box and too much power how to you have them wied, 9cuft including sub displacement, @ 1200ms is all you should run, if you run more power you'll need to drop the box size down
  15. Have you tries this new thing, I think it called google I typed in dad ba 15 specs and bang there they were
  16. 2 12" on 2k should see mid 40's easy, maybe, I mean maybe even high 40's So when you say spl, how loud are you after? Do you plane to compete? And in what class if so? And what do you lission to music wise?
  17. I think he talking about the alpine x 12 You'll want 1k each to them to get any sort if numbers, the don't require a masive port either What car What sub and port direction How much power What do u lission to What do you want a achieve with them
  18. Hers 1 I did for someone else with the simalar dimension, but with less depth to allow for amp rack It's for 2 sa12 and box is for sq
  19. Also what do you want to achieve, As if you want a low tune you'll only be looking at 2x 12
  20. i think your on the right track, just check what you have when you get the truck, myself i try to stay under 14-1500total for everyday on stock ele. idd also wait until you get the truck and measure it up, see what your happy to give up, and choice subs based of the volume you have, that will work well on 10-1200rms then that leave 400rms for speakers
  21. also noticed that, + the ports look to close inside the box
