I'm newish to all this so people correct me if im wrong but depends on subs characteristics, car, box size, even if its tuned to 38hz, direction of box even. I have 2 12's in a sealed box, and changing the direction will change the sound drastically.

ok sub is a Skar VVX 15" D4. rms 600 but its heard to take 1000rms. . . it booms on the low lows i guess. but i listen to anything from bass bass to metal. about equal. and as far as space. id say off the top of my head 30x30x20 20 being height...rooms is not an issue. and its going in an SUV (jeep grand cherokee)

if you got some power and ground cables lying around i can do 125

does anyone know if the scar vvx and sundown sa are underrated? on obsidian it even says right on there that they are underrated at 600rms so

i know haha and not goin for the kickers, my subs now are 2 12's that totalt rms at 400 and im giving them 250 so going with those is like a really small step up thats all.

no dont have an amp, thats next weeks pay check...well i do have a 250rms amp that i can use for now....

i know haha....whenever i look at box builing programs idk what sizes to start. i have no experience in making them. i know how to physically cut and put them to gether all sealed and nice and such.....i just dont know where to start with sized and port size i just know the sub specs (if buying this one goes through) and i want it tuned about 33hz - 37ish hz (for loud and low bass, yet can play every style of music) but i also dont have thebudget to trialy and eroor boxes so

i live obsidian but there subs only rms at 600....looking more around 800 to 1200 but thanks still thinkin about them
