So any medal winner in the Olympics gets to come home to the US taxing them for winning a gold/silver/bronze medal. All I can say is wow.

It's much less if they are in the lower tax bracket, like $2.5k instead.

And Great Britain athletes don't get a cash prize, but on the other hand I don't think any athlete plans on going to the Olympics to get rich.
