Team Powermaster
andym85 replied to basebalz13's topic in XS Power Batteries / Chargers! (and other stuff too)
im gonna say Powermaster on getting sponsored...here is a direct quote from scottie If you feel you might qualify, you can submit your proposal for consideration for the team pricing program. To qualify you need to be an established competitor with some good competition history and a solid plan for the upcoming season. -
that was damn funny!!

amp question=amp section...moved
-
not sure what caused it, but if there was smoke involved then ur screwed!
-
yea, thats the whole issue....it has to do with the whole end correction thing and when the length of wood for L1 is at its max but no bend is made....confusing...not sure another thing...if you are putting the port(s) on top of the box, make sure you enter the height for the depth...b/c the port length is figured on the depth of the box...(and just enter the depth in the height field)

i was told do not use a scraper on your rear window or it will fuck up your defrost....they make a spray for it...you spray it on and tape a bag over your window, let it sit and try and remove it....i am about to attempt it in a few weeks...but have no idea what this spray is...i need to do some searching
-
i say just get the biggest one...you can always add a washer if its too big...
-
yea...i have thought about it a great deal...made sketches, adjusted the formula...idk...just one of those things i cant wrap my head around and that people do a little differently...
-
two of them will be about 94bucks after shippin...just a heads up
-
straight back...but that is one of those lengths that confuses me (see the 'gray area' box that says 18-23)...depends on how u look at it...like if you consider the 3/4" thickness of the wood to be a 3/4" turn...its really hard to explain on the internet...i usually keep the lenghts of the port either greater than or less than the gray area range....i know...u are probably confused now...lol...

either there or thrilleraudio.com...thats where i just bought mine from...

i would tune closer to the 35 rather than then 30 b/c like david said, you are gonna loose the higher notes which is where a lot of bass is.... but make the box a little larger than recommended b/c of the power they are gonna be seeing... and yes my calc is accurate if you use it right...trust me...i put way to much time into making sure that its pretty damn close to everything else out there...and if you find two two tuning calculators that are exactly the same then i would be really suprised...
-
it will affect it some since the port wont be displacing as much air in the box...but for the amount you are probably gonna end up having outside of the enclosure, i wouldnt worry about it too much..
