This isn't super clear, I think we're saying the same thing. But I think you have extra (unnecessary) wires thrown in there. yea, we are saying the same thing...we just went in a different order...

coil one: wire the negative to the positive on coil two and wire the positive to the negative on coil two...then from coil two run the positive to the positive on the amp and the same with the negative...

good sub...also check out the FI SSD... www.ficaraudio.com u can get the dual 1 ohms and wire it up to 2 ohms..

they both did bassrace...i cant remember off the top of my head what pipo bassraced at, probably in the 150s though. i know tommy (from the first vid) won bassrace in the 150+ class with a 158.9...and that is just teh sickness to do that on music....

1ohm...i mean it plays fine most of the time, it just doesnt like certain songs...

having some difficulty with the amp that we installed in my buddies truck. with certain songs it kicks into protect quite easily and im not sure why. i have played and played with the gains and cant seem to get it right. could the prevolt outputs on the headunit not be powerfull enough? i mean, u can match the prevolt outputs on the headunit to the amp...you can adjust the voltage on the amp from .2V to 9V. with the prevolts turned about 1/4 of the way up and the gains set from about 1/2 to 3/4 the way up, it cuts out. i know its getting plenty of power, so i thought it might be the prevolts from the headunit not being strong enough, or the amp is just complete poo with certain songs...any suggestions? i dont have access to a dmm so i cant really test anything nor would i know how...lol...so we are doin this all by ear and feel...any help would be awesome!!!

his subs are seeing 4000watts a piece. with all of the options on the subs and being smart with the gains, it can be done.

im thinking about competing in a 3x meca event in two weeks, but i still have to finish my other port. my box is about 5 cubes net. i was thinking about 60"sq, tuned to around 50 (strictly for burps). what do u all think? more port area?
