  1. I have a volt meter i drop in the low 11's at full titl. headlights dim at about half volume. it is a known thing with subaru i have to do big 3 and grounding mod since they do grounds after they paint the car so they tend to have shit grounds.
  2. there is a fry's in chicago they are always inexpensive. but then again i have no idea where the hell mchenry is
  3. radio shack sells monster now i hate monster but if you have to have it now there are worse options. also their premium line is decent at the shack. best buy has metra speaker wire, rockford wiring, and kicker wiring in stock. i dont know how far you are from chicago or its suburbs but look at shops there.
  4. i use firefold since they are 15 minutes from my house. but i know you can find some open box stuff at best buy usually decent prices, also look on craigslist someone might be parting out their stuff.
  5. this is why im going with the 110 it comes on the 09+ wrx/sti/forester so they can be found inexpensively.
  6. Im going to try it. We shall see, if it isnt enough I can always upgrade again.
  7. no.. just your stock electrical uses about 90 amps check your voltage after you have upgraded your electrical. you might need a 170a or 200a alt Well my car uses about 60amps since my stock alt is 75amp. My voltage drops is INSANE!
  8. so they can fit more than 1 4 lug pattern they can probably fit 4x100 and 4x4.5
  9. They won't fit, I looked at the lug holes and they only fit a 4 lug. My boy with an 01 2.5rs wanted me to find him rims.
  10. mechman makes the 110a acutally its 105amp but i can get the 110amp off the model above my car.
  11. Wow that much juice huh? I can get a 160amp unit but after that I think singer is the only one that makes anything bigger
  12. I have come down in my expectations of what I am going to run, I am not going to be anywhere near 2.5-3k watts. So running right at 1.5-2k watts would a 110amp alt, big 3, current battery up front is an agm 640cca battery, and then like a shuriken, nvx, kinetik, power xs 600 in the back with all 0ga runs except to the amps which take 4ga be enough?
  13. seems like some pretty solid brands.
  14. Im lost, what exactly was the fucking point? Some people have more time and money then sense.
  15. my sundown does right at 1100 per jacob on his clamp. its not an saz or sax is an old school sae-1000d i can strap them but i cannot find another one anywhere. this amp has been a troop through 5 years of beating, and a wire short. i guess i can keep it and see what it will do on 4 12's
  16. word if this guy would ever get back to me i will have it.
  17. haha 1500 to each of them holy smelly woofers. The 1243d is the model after mine so they are basically the same with poly venting I think is the only difference. So throw what ever you feel comfortable throwing at them, mine have gone 5 years with the same old sundown 1k to them and they haven't failed me yet. They are getting gone soon though just because I want an upgrade.
  18. would that blow them? If you aren't careful it can that is 2x rated rms. The old type r's are known to take power and a beating. If you don't feel comfortable with that much power use the model right below it the onx1.1500d
  19. I hate thieves so fucking much. If you cant afford it work for it don't take somebody's stuff.
  20. I am running 500 each to mine i have the 1242d versions. I would say anything around 500-750 each sub will work. What ohm load are you running? The onx1.1500d would be perfect if you are running dvc4
  21. My radio bezel in my car got scratched up when i had my flip out indash and i have tried finding a color match but cannot. so now it looks even worse than it did. i was looking at plati dip and doing black, how does this stuff work or are there any other brands/products that would be better? also do i just need to sand, clean, and then spray or is there more to it?
  22. if you want infinity stuff look on ebay at harmon kardon's ebay store. it is all warrantied and great prices.
