dude i had my old skool RFT10001bd hooked up to the 18" BTL and it slamed so hard it was freakin unbelievable. the amp was puttin out jus about about 1300rms.

yo i went on sunday, the last day, and it was awesome. all of the vendors on the top floor in the auto accesories section were basically giving away all of their products. waxes, chamois cloths, stickers etc. so they dont go back home with a trunk full of stuff. i went home with at least $150 in stuff that i paid only $40 bucks for. anyways, the cars were awesome. got soaked walking back to penn station tho

yea, since both are under the hood just link + to + and - to - on both batts. although it would help out alot if both batts were dry cells

when you start getting into the 150+ db range it takes double the power to increase 1-2 db's. when you start moving into the upper 150's to 160 db area then it takes triple the power to increase your db's 1 or 2 more. or somthing like that

from what i have seen latley there hasn't been many arguments, i just dont hope thats what it will escalate to...

i dunno how anyone else feels about this but i would love to see in is own separate section, a thread on all of our head to head, this vs. that comparisons so that when we are looking to buy we can just go to this thread and see if what we are comparing is on there. Personally, i enjoy listening to what actual people have to say about two similar products thay have heard and used rather than that marketing bullshit companies use to promote their products. like i siad this is just food for thought and would like to know if anyone is with me on this one. not to mention lately there have been a ton of posts on head to head amps, subs, speakers and Headunits alike, and it seems to be quite a concern. thanks, chris

yea its new alright, ive ordered alot from them b4, and they have great customer service, fast shipping, and so far everthing i have bought has been brand new in box, in plastic, with all paperwork. i dont see why they would not stick to their guns on the RF amps.

i called and emailed and both said he same thing from different ppl. somthing along the lines of this. "im sorry we dont have in the product that you inquired about and wont be receiving a shipment from our distributor for several weeks." they did not give me an exact time period, even tho i asked many times. all they kept saying was "weeks"

i dunno. i think in the back of my mind i want to, but i really want to see how this hifonics sounds. i only hear good things about them, the price was right, and it seemed like a good investment. plus it gets birthed at 3300rms, which should really get my BTL going. i was making comparisons b/t the 2 and they were very similar. both had pros and cons, but in the end it all came down to how much longer do i really want to wait? it already took me 24 days to get the BTL, and to get the 30001bd they said they wont get a shipment for a few more weeks. WEEKS! i have patience, but not that much

i have the sub and box already built and in my car playing off my RF1500bd. it pounds so god damn hard its unbelievable. as far as the amp goes, rite now i have the hifonics xx-thor being delivered to my house in 5 days. this was my backup amp in case i could not get the 3000bd. it was sold out by time i saved up the money, and would not be coming in for weeks and weeks. i said f*** that, and went ahead and ordered the hifonics. so now i should start breaking my rear window. lol

no ive never had to charge mine except when i first got them. i charged my optima yellowtop and my kinetik as soon as they came out of the box, and never had to do it again.

polk audio MMC6500 series componets are 4 ohm, but i wired them 2 two ohm and they have been working perfectly in my friends car for almost 2 year now. they are 125RMS btw

dude i have almost the exact same setup you do, but with kinetik hc1400 and i have HID headlights and they dont dim one bit. and i dont have a HO alt. i have a stock 100A alt in my jeep cherokee

did a ground wire come loose??

does he have a factory amplifier somewhere in the car, if so it may need to be bypassed. Or, there is a feature on the Pioneer screen that you may need to turn on the subs, becuase when its installed the default settings have the subwoofer turned off.
