  1. totally agree with OP. It's the principle of the matter, i would rather pay MORE online if that's how the owner was treating me.
  2. Second time doing a deal, and everything went extremely smooth. First time, I bought a subwoofer which was excellently packaged and shipped quickly. This time he managed some magic of fitting over 100 ft of SHCA 1/0 in a flat rate box... Great transactions, no complaints.
  3. Probably would start a horrible rumble in the vehicle, which wouldn't last long and would be followed by a green monster running away tale tucked between its legs............lol LOL
  4. SEE COMMENTS ABOVE! not sure what though. oh i know, but i figured if it gets continually said, they will definitely cover it.
  5. Indeed. The Z v.3 motor is 30mm wider with thicker steel -- the X has a taller magnet stack for the additional excursion, though. Unfortunately i dont know enough about car audio to ask intelligent questions, but maybe you can interpret what im asking. How is motor ability (force?) Measured? And what is the difference between the z v.3 and the x
  6. Might take a shot with both of the butts in the air if anyone is interested, i was actually surprised, the Z v.3 motor is quite a bit bigger than the X motor. That blown Z v.3 is also for sale in the for sale section.
  7. that's actually pretty sweet for just 2x 12's! I'm going to be installing my x-12's in the trunk within the next week, so i love seeing vids on em.
  8. Amen. I'm going to have the box be sealed, but still be pushed into the trunk a bit, so i should be able to have the port sticking outside of the box and still be able to have the back seat on if i want it.
  9. Is there a reason you'd choose two smaller ports over one bigger port? It would actually be harder for me to fit two smaller ports in my box.
  10. will a 9" be too much? Sound be fine, make sure to glass the sonotube for strengh it's going to be a metal psychoport, think it still needs glassing?
  11. i've of course thought about it, but this is only my second box and i'm not very convinced of my box building skills. I also like how easy it is to adjust tuning with a psychoport. any reasons for ditching aeroports?
  12. i don't believe i'd have enough room for that :/ Is the 9" not going to provide enough area?
  13. I was told an 8" port, but then it seemed port area per foot was too low, so now looking at a 9" aero which will put me at 12.5" port area per foot. A single port
  14. Not sure if anyone will care about these, but i think they're pretty cool, so i'm going to share with you! If you want to see any other angles, let me know.
  15. I recently bought some sundown x's and am going to be doing a sealed trunk box. Everyone has been telling me something different, and i'm just trying to figure out what will be optimal for me. I will have 2x Sundown x-12's in a box, and i was told to go with 4.5-5 cubes net. My question is, what is the optimal port area per foot for the x series? People have been telling me they like really low Port area per foot #'s, but for most other subs, higher #'s are desired. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if i made any of this confusing, let me know and i'll try to clarify. Other Info: I'll be running these subs on a Rockford T2500 @ 1 ohm, so about 3500 watts RMS. I'm also most likely going to be using an aero, psychoport.
