  1. It doesn't say anything about having the car off in the manual. I've set amps both ways with it and haven't had any problems
  2. Usb ports failed on my laptop, cousin is fixing it now. back to my desktop for now

  3. Don't let the Punch series fool ya,they're pretty stout their selves. I had one on 2 T2's for 5 years in my truck and it would work those subs. Either amp is a good choice so either way you'll be good. I like the punch amps and SE is a great place to buy them, got my T400.4 and T600.4 from them on Ebay and a lot of my other stuff from their site
  4. go to SE site,go to item look at right side of page under "why shop Sonic" price match request link is highlighted. then you have to copy and paste competitors site url with item, type in name, email and their price. SE will email you after that
  5. I've ordered most of my equipment from Sonic. Have you hooked them up?? I'm curious how they sound
  6. That sucks, you'd think they would "handle" the weight being that's what they put on the batteries but it is plastic so kinda to be expected unfortunately. I'm sure XS will take care of you one way or another with this.
  7. Welcome John.. Try calling Sonic Electronix they should be able to help you with the shipping through USPS. Do FedEx and UPS not deliver to that base?? Since you have the RF R400.4 then you might as well get a RF Prime or Punch amp for the subs,I would recommend the Punch though. Or get a Hifonix if you're wanting to go cheap with it. There's many options on the subs,if you want to stay with RF then the P2's would be a good choice or even the P3's,they'll both get down pretty good.Audio Savings has a deal for 2 of the P2's and SE will price match them, they did it for me but I changed my mind on getting them.
  8. It should be fine to leave it in the box, it's no different than it being on their shelf
  9. Im on here lots, don't know what you are even talking about, I dont even know why people would be trippin about post numbers anyways, just weird............ He is a participant, he is on a lot, a dedicated member like almost all of us, asking legit Q"s, no harm or hate in that, we are bass heads, and here to lead our mofo's in the right directions, and watch it happen at the same time, from our help, "long run, we make mofo's loud in this mofo, ya heard??? That is what we do, and why people come to the loudest forum on the net. We are kings, we know how to get loud and sound good, let these mofo's blast what they have and sound good from our advice, that is what we do........... WORD!!
  10. I vote yes give him posts back,he seems legit to me. Just learning as much as he can for his upcoming build. Hell I'm unemployed at the moment so I'm on here often as well but i just don't post all the time..
  11. It's still worth the money,it goes down w/o a mess and smooths out once you start forming/rolling it. Next time I'll get the Damplifier or the pro series to try it out. I'm sure this won't be my last purchase from SS. I'm gonna be doing my cousin's install after a few months in a civic and I'm sure going to be getting the SS for it.
  12. yeah it's kind of thin but I noticed it has a kind of stiff/hard feeling to begin with but I'm not complaining $85 for 32 sq ft
  13. If you don't have access or skills to do the welding you could just get some good high heat silicone to fill in the holes and place the damplifier over it.. Lowes and HD have some 3M stuff called 5200 I think,I've used it on some cracks on the back of my truck cab and it won't go anywhere and heat won't effect it but it's like $16 for 1 tube. It's used to patch holes on boat hulls
  14. My dynamat xtreme is 5 yrs old and still "soft" now. I don't really expect my SS B-stock to last as long as that or the pro/A-stock would.
  15. quote... Something I want to add to this, is that the amp that Steve has ordered, if it was a NEW 1500, had to be the 1500Dv3 which we have never seen a problem with. The amps in question that I remember having the problems were: SAZ-1500Dv1 SAZ-2000D AB VFL 150.1 (silver) DD M3 I don't remember what the others were, maybe an older 20.1 or RD D9 was possible too. I want SMD to hook that DD-1 up to the SAZ-1500Dv3 properly, and put up his video. Don't care if he mentions my name or not. I ALSO want him to look at the situation carefully and see what all "could go wrong" while a customer is hooking that thing up and make sure they take measures or at least provide instructions on mistakes that a customer could make when hooking it up. After all, in the end, WE (dB-r) have to deal with it too, not just SMD (Corp).
