Huh it looks so smooth, or that's how paint comes out on MDF? I've never painted MDF before.. ya dude. when i was gonna first paint it i was gonna spray paint but i build a 12 box and eventually sold it and i painted it with spray paint and it looked like shit hah. so i tried out some old paint from my house. just get a nice roller and like a 15 dollar small can of house paint. i painted my 10 box too

i have a design for 1.8 tuned to 32 hz for a single e12 but you can make a dual box out of it and face the subs in the cab. i did the same thing with 10s in my 2001 oldsmobile alero. pretty much the same car. i just dont want to waist my time posting it if you dont want it. should work fine for a sa 12 but i think they need 2 cubes.

my voltage is alot better but it still isnt the best. my alternator is seriously messed up. my voltage never goes under 12 volts but i was hoping for it to never go under 13 but looks like i gotta get a mechman alternator before i plan on buying my highs amp. The only way to stay in the 13+ volt range is to never exceed your alternators output capabilities. For example if you have a 5K watt amp then you would need at least 550amps of alternator power to stay above 1 my voltage is alot better but it still isnt the best. my alternator is seriously messed up. my voltage never goes under 12 volts but i was hoping for it to never go under 13 but looks like i gotta get a mechman alternator before i plan on buying my highs amp. to late now. i just ordered the d3400 yesterday. i appreciate the input though i was gonna get the 975 in the first place and use another battery in the back but im just gonna see what the d3400 can do with just that battery and if it doesn't fix my voltage ill either get a HO alternator or get another battery for the back

Yeah, am working up a design for 2 of them in a bandpass enclosure. I am soooooo close to building lol but I keep making myself rework the numbers because I only want to build it once (yeah right lol). Probably going to take some work to get it to sound like I want. ya thats for sure nothing worse then building a box that doesnt sound like you want.

i measured the room and everything looks like it is gonna fit just nice. in the picture i have the battery i have now with the regular alternator wires and the other stuff to the original posts on the side. can i do this with the xs battery and put all my power wire and everything to my amps on top and put the factory wires on the side. the xs power 555 looks like the thing i need to get for that. but i appreciate all the help so far. yall are very helpful i would be buying a extra battery right now and be mixing wet with dry cell battery
