  1. i measured the room and everything looks like it is gonna fit just nice. in the picture i have the battery i have now with the regular alternator wires and the other stuff to the original posts on the side. can i do this with the xs battery and put all my power wire and everything to my amps on top and put the factory wires on the side. the xs power 555 looks like the thing i need to get for that. but i appreciate all the help so far. yall are very helpful i would be buying a extra battery right now and be mixing wet with dry cell battery
  2. i went on the website and it said to get the 3400 but when i look up the size on a different website it says the dimensions are bigger then what can fit. so can any xs power 3400 fit? also what is the BCI group?
  3. i ground the frame ground to the block and then to the battery
  4. all of the xs batterys i can find are to tall to fit in the regular spot for my battery. and suggestions?
  5. so i was looking at the 3400 but then measured and there is no way thats gonna fit. so i guess im gonna have to get two smaller batterys
  6. alright i appreciate the help. ill prob just get one big xs battery for the front and go from there if it still drops
  7. you think it would be better to just get a bigger battery for just the front?
  8. hey i have 2 e10 sundown subs wired to a hifonics BRZ 1200 watt amp and my voltage goes down to the 12s so i have finally decided to get a second battery for my car and later on maybe get a HO alternator. right now i have a stock 90 amp alternator on my 2001 oldsmobile alero. i have the big 3 done in 0 gauge , the wires running to my amp are also 0 gauge. i have been looking at the D925, D975, D1200. any input on what battery you think would work best for my system or maybe even just to get a HO alternator instead. here are some pics of my battery.
  9. i have a e12 1.8 cubes 32 hz and sounds great if that helps any. i would say go with 2 cubes for the sa though
  10. you like the new brx? i have the brz and it is a great amp. thinking about the brx series in the future
  11. ya man i have built boxes for all the e series except the e15s and i bet those 15s get loud for what they are. where did he get his from because i know website real cheap for a e15
  12. this is the box i made for my new e8v3 subs in a box tuned to 34hz 1.2 cubes
  13. ya man. it was my first box so i just thought the more screws the better. but i have learned that only a little screws in necessary. this is my latest box made for my 2 e8v3s
  14. the tuning is good. it sounds good on about everything. its hard to believe its just two tens. my brother has two e12s in a custom box to 32 hz and that box sounds really nice and clean. i just got done painting my e8v3 box with some house paint and it came out real good so im prob about to paint this one.
  15. first ever box build tuned to 34 hz. tell me what ya think.
  16. i have 2 e10s on the same amp and they go hard getting about 1000 watts to both of them wired at 1ohm. these are my first sundown subs so i cant really compare them to the sa series but for the price you can almost get two e8s for the price of 1sa8 so guess it really dpends on space and price range. the e series arnt a joke though they dont know what destortion is. and just from experience that amp draws alot of amps i have 0 gauge big three and 0 running to the back and imabout to kill my alternator. have to drop another 400 for a mechman just to get the full potential out of my amp
  17. I want to make it vented. The only reason I dont want ports is because my trunk rattles alot. Im facing the subs to the cabin. Are you making ports for yours? And if you could take some pics of your build when done it would be appreciated.
  18. i have 2 e-10s and i need to make a box. if anybody could help me out or give some tips it would be appreciated. ported btw
  19. i have 2 e10s that i just got recently. they have very good quality if pared with a good box which i have yet to make. and they still sound amazing on the lows even with the bad box i have now. they are powered with a 1200 hifonics brutus amp and they take about 500 watts each like nothing. they also got a little better sound after i broke them in
