Been out of town. But today I started a new box for my Tahoe. It's durty. Got a lot of sanding to do tommorrow but besides that just need the double baffle screwed on (already cut) and cut the speaker holes. Been wanting to port these ten's for a while so I'm pretty stoked. Will do me for now until I can get the coin needed to power a couple of Btl's......Btl's only $950; To power them $3000; Tahoe body flex Priceless

Durango is a nice step up. I looked at a couple when I got my Tahoe and really liked them I just needed something bigger. SUV's are nice to have the the Durangos are real comfortable. My vote = Durango

don't pay attention to peak output

because the subs combined run off 600 wrms (300 ea x2) and the amp only put out 360 rms x 1 so that is 240 watts under the max rms of the subs. and max rms is generally where you want to be or a little more. Headroom is oh so nice

yeah that amp will work your actually underpowering them by 1/2 but it will work. Wire the subs in parallel. + to + to + of amp and - to - to - of amp will equal 2 ohm load whcih is what the amp is recommended for and it will put out 360 wrms according to manufacturer

It's the perfect way to start = cheap subs you can learn with and not worry too much about blowing. For your first enclosure I would suggest using what RF recommends. The first thing to know is use 3/4" MDF and double the baffle. this is your way of cutting your teeth. Also, look through the forum and try adding any of the tricks you see - like bracing, adding fiberglass layers internally and '45ing' the corners. It may be overkill for those subs but it will be good learning and if the box is built well enough you can just 'drop-in' better subs

I knew they were expensive just didn't know how expensive. $650 for all 4 sounded too low and $650 ea sounded high so I wanted to check edit to add ~ I'm not saying they are too high just wanted to ask
