what do you mean by the deck restarts does it completely turn off then back on when it does it do you lose the clock and preset memory or does it just skip .everyone always jumps to its a voltage problem but you might have a bad ground or const power to the deck.

switch it back to standard and bypass the 701 hopefully it works.

have you tried bypassing the 701 and the audiocontrol. run the rcas from the decks sub out directly to the amps.or make sure if you are running the decks ai-net into the 710 then to the amps that the switch under the radio is switched to ai-nit not standard. might be a signal problem not voltage esp if its at 13v and the headlights dont dim.

read what he said what size fuse does the amp require what size fuse are you using i think 4ga is a bit small for that much power i bet the fuse you are using is to small probally a 60a and the amp is drawing to much current throught it poping it.

if this for the tahoe in sig try to backstrap the deck to the truck there is a strong piece of metal right behing the radio. my pioneer dont skip. the more secure the deck is the less it will skip.

i just bought 2 batterys off ebay they are pro power batteries model p2800 for $120 ea so far they are great i cranked the shit out of my system today on a little road trip full blast voltage was at 14.2 with stock alt 3000w on bass and over 2000 on mids and highs rms . tonight was the first time i drove my truck at night and to my surprize (sp) the headlights didnt dim at all before even rolling down the windows made them dim im very happy with them they are good but cheap the owner is cool as hell. he even has a p5000 model huge as hell for $300 same price as a little 2400.his name is chad give him a call 1-239-691-7515 he owns or operates a stereo shop in florida and seems to be a very knolagable(sp) person.

well try grounding the alt case to the batt check all other grounds maybe with more juice now the grounds need upgrading deck eq amp alt etc

r&r remove and replace did you disconnect anything else while installing alt.
