  1. IN kansas we only have to get them inspected if was registered outside of kansas previously and they just check to see if all the vins and paperwork match up
  2. you would have to measure the cargo area of the kee and then figure out what you could fit in it....
  3. dont plumbers use flux when "soldering" copper pipes to pull the solder in the seams all the way???
  4. hope you dont have to reskin it cause it looks like it split where they fold the skin ocer and spot weld it.....ouch!
  5. see if its tied down some where and see if you can unhook/clip it for more slack
  6. its not that bad, I have done it with about every vehicle i have owned, just get a new terminal that has plenty of connections for all of your factory wires and your new ones. it is worth it trust me.
  7. hold the terminal in a vice, or have a frien hold it with some pliers, heat it up with a torch, stick your wire in the terminal, and start laying on the solder nice and thick. if your terminal is the kind that cups the wire on the end near the ring just fill it up sith solder as your heating it up and then stick your stripped wire into the cup, remove the heat and bam! soldered terminal!
  8. just link your new battery to your old one with some oawg wire and then from your second battery to your distro blocks etc....its what I did with the benz and it works great!
  9. if your just gonna do dual batteries, keep the factory one in its spot and put your kinetik, optima etc... in the other spot since your system will draw from it first. also you might want to consider using an isolator if your gonna run the system with the engine off so your not drawing from the factory battery as the second one is draining.
  10. check your harness in the dash and put a meter on all connections to see if your getting power. chevy wiring harness/fuse blocks are notorious for going bad, also check all relays
