    I'm not a mechanic in anyway but im pretty sure your car has a tranny filter. You have to remove the transmission pan to see it.

    I only had a kicker kx800.2 and i fried it and kicker said it was from voltage drop. I was running stock electrical. Do what audiofanaticz said and upgrade batteries.

    I've always been told you can tell by the fluid color and smell. You want it to be red and not smell burnt. I hope this helps
