I bought 2 pairs of Hifonics X-overs and they were shipped like the DAY of my PayPal payment. They were packed very well and they arrived in 2 days. I would certainly do business with him again, it was a pleasure. < No homo....

Hey guys i was looking for some input on my box for an RE SXX 10 d2. Running off a hifonics brutus 1200.1 in a Focus ZX3 hatchback. Been messing around with Torres and came up with some numbers. Right now i have a 15x13x32 with 2 4" Aeros at 28 inches in length. Giving me 12.31 port area per foot and im sitting right at 2 Cubes at 32.44 hz. The Displacement of the woofer is .14 and i threw in .1 displacement for bracing and might add some 45 degree corners. My question to you guys is... are 2 28" Aeros too much for this kind of setup? And is 2 cubes net too much for a 10 inch woofer running a little over the rms range (1000)? Specs call for 1.25 cubes at 34 hz. I guess i just want to know if this is going to tear my sub up, and also is it gonna be loud enough? would like to hit 140 is my goal, can also change out aeros if need be for that. Im new to box building and new to anything serious with car audio, any help would be appreciated. Thanks Sub up, port back firing I have the entire thing modeled up to spec in Solidworks please tell me what you think http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream Is that the best position for the cutout? where the air would travel the longest distance is how i planned it Spacing around the ports okay? I have 5 inches between the wall and the entrance to the port

Looking for an amp to power my RE Audio XXX 12", and have chosen Soundstream over Hifonics. But I'm stuck between the 2000 and 2600 watt versions. I have the dual 2 Ohm version which I will wire in parallel to make 1 Ohm. The Soundstream TX1.2000D is rated 2000 RMS x1 @ 1 Ohm, which is what the sub is rated for But it would be nice to have a bit more power, The Soundstream TX1.2600D will do 2600 RMS x1 @ 0.5 Ohm, and only 2000 at 1Ohm, So.. Will I have much of a gain by buying the more expensive amp, even though at the subs impedance on paper they will output the same.

Hello my name is josh, im new to the forms and car audio. I've been researching for the past week and learned about the potential of sundowns SA line of subs. I came to the conclusion that i wanted the SA-12 because price, size and performance. I like reference bass (punchy). My music choices include D&B, Metal-core, and Dance Hall. i wish to keep the bass as close to what the artist intend the track to sound. IDK if anyone has done this before but i ant the box to be able to play in car and also be pulled out and played at the house. I just need to know how to power them out the car. I need a box design that would deliver the audio performance i desire. The amp i looking at are the Hifonics BRX1600.1D or the BRX1100.1D also heard good things about MB Quart ONX1.1000D and MB Quart ONX1.1600D . I might go for the MB, unless someone has a better suggestion? BUDGET around $200...less will be good please help me get the components right so i can move on to the next step of my audio journey Vehicle : 1999 Toyota Corolla Location in the vehicle: Trunk Space available (Width x Height x Depth): " W x " H x " D Need to take measurements will update asap Sub-woofer make and model: Sundown SA-12 D2 Number of Sub-woofers: One Box Style: Ported Type of Port: Kerfed or Slot Music: Mostly Bass dominant music, D&B, Electro, Dancehall. Metalcore with some rap Is your goal SPL or Everyday Music?: Music, Movies, Party...use for everything musical. Reference Bass reproduction I will build a second identical system to run in parallel if this is successful and meets my liking
