FaTbOy911
Lol ill watch it now Had an estimate of 6400 for an alpine/clarion setup dealer said it "should" hit around 160db with the custom boxes he was going to make for me..doubtful with so much area to move but, budget is way below that any ideas on cheaper brands for that kind of Spl setup? really didnt want to try any Boss or soundstorm, thinking Quantum figure around $150 per speaker "$1800 total" and $1700 to power it, first actual big setup for the van. skittlesRgood
watched it. its funny that he says "people abuse it" as if people dont abuse everything. over the counter drugs, guns, cars etc. and all those kill people. audio only annoys people for a few seconds. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. fr34kout
Yea, they were trying to say that shops sell these products specifically so that people can make excessive noise and disturb people. Yup, that's their exact intentions, cause as much ruckus as possible so people start to blame them. I'm sure that's what every shop wants!

AnsonX10
I like the idea of it being limited to a time of day. After that time of night, it could be considered illegal and the law can take its course. But that way its fair, and everyone knows WHEN they could get their car impounded, and has the choice whether to play it illegally or not. I've been interested in the legal side of car audio for a while now. I'm on the side of keeping car audio freedom. I was gonna post something on here like 6 months ago, maybe I'll finish it up tonight and post it. Any ideas where to post it? It's about "boom car" legality and why people hate it. An people who say they don't care. Is stupid! Why be a member on a audio forum and state that you don't care if they pass a law taking that right from us? An I think if your a member on here you should agree with me. An people who say they don't care. Is stupid! Why be a member on a audio forum and state that you don't care if they pass a law taking that right from us? Look we all dont care what law there is. Its like the gun laws you can try and take it from me but it'll be over my dead body. The fact of the matter is we all have to be respectful and not "go after" the people trying to ban our audio. We ALL need to be civil and show that the "bass head" community is one of respectful individuals that do not go out trying to piss people off. Also that just because with have a system that that does NOT mean we are criminals and do drugs, rob people, or whatever stupid shit they come up with. We like to enjoy our music as a way to relieve stress and show our creative side. Its a form of art and our speech. We support local communities and the global ecomony.
