For christ's sake it's 1/3 of the price of the welding cable i bought.
tacomabanga1986 Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) is pure copper wiring, some companies will tin the wires on the outside to help prevent corrosion, but the wire itself is copper. CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) is Aluminum wire that is coated in a very thin layer of Copper on the outside. It's less conductive than OFC, and is not able to carry the same amount of current as OFC. so cca aint silver looking? or hmm i guess this is like buying necklasses from walmart, 14k gold over sterling silver = cca but aluminum is still a decent conductor tho, i know copper is best but still would be good for some cheap ass wire haha, atleast its not a 10guage wiring kit rated at "1300 watts max" like most shit on ebay here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit

tacomabanga1986 Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 here a review on the blue "1/0" wire User Review: I bought this wire as I had seen it described as 100% copper but in reality it is copper clad aluminum. The wire is fairly thick; not quite as thick as some high end much more expensive copper 0 gauge wire but not as thin as some cheap "0 gauge" wires that are out there. I had to upgrade my friends car from 4 gauge to (real) 8 gauge. sounds like a typo but Rockford 8 gauge is better than Bullz 4 gauge.
