heckvr4
cutting a huge hole will deff bring the value of the truck down. how much bass do you want? 4th order bandpass can be plenty loud, 05 f150 4 18'' DC lvl6 2 DC AUDIO 9.0ks 161.3 @ 44HZ build log here96 tahoe http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160522-8-18xls2-dc-100k4th-order/page-

Scrapmanson
I thought 2 sa12's on a 1200d at .5 ohms would be plenty power. Like 1700 watts? That's a nice build there! I'd rather cut a port hole than a huge hole but I want what's best for bass in my situation? Who helped u with 6th order design? What's difference in 4th and 6th? Ray
go big.. then shrink down to what works best. no need to cut it twice. want lows? or numbers? your cut can be 11 tall by 49 wide in that truck i would do a reg ported box for loud numbers.. should see like a 47-48 @ 35hz 6th order for lows.. bout a 45 @ 30 plenty of guys that do designs for cheaper than me. im 50.00 for ported 85 for 6th order. 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
