mendezm9
Got two 12" level 4s with essentially level 5 softparts. Would this enclosure be good for them? Want it tuned at 32 for a daily groundpounder. Powered by a saz2500 at 1 ohm. Want the box to be strong enough for 2 xl's as i plan on upgrading in the future. Want it to be like the pic on the first post labeled 0 common walls with the square port in the middle. Will be sealed off and firing into the cabin of a 04 chrysler 300m. mendezm9
Ive been told 1.5 per sub would be good so i made it a little bigger to account for displacment of subs and bracing..... I will fix the port tonight.

bumonskateboard6
I've built a 3.04 cubic foot box for my LVL 4 12's and it was a little small, next one is over 3.5. They like air space, and if you're going to use sketchup use the real dimensions so you have a better feel for how it'll look cause your front baffle would be 12.5 in that drawing and the sub cutout holes to flush mount have to be 12.75 or larger. Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

Quote c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
