CstrokerV
So i was using this site for the tuning and port length www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31.. Theres a button for slot port.. my question is a slot port is using one or more sides of the box as a port wall right? .... just wondering because when i click it it makes the port shorter.. and i do not want to mess up the tuning when i build the box my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
captainhook426
Try this, http://www.linearteam.dk/default.aspx?pageid=winisd I've had some good luck with this program and good thing is, you don't have to worry about internet or anything. load your sub, load your box dimensions, load your port width, and let it calculate the length for you. It saved my ass twice on my box! or you can do it by calculator, I hate Geometry, so I use the program. Next time she tries to punch you in the stomach, whip your wiener out and chase her around. Show her who's boss.
Trâgîk
Ive compared the two programs and they are almost spot on with the port lenghts and stuff. I like winisd the best but the other one will work too. -----SELLING EVERYTHING---- 2 DC sound labs 3.5k's (still avail) 2 HDC312A D1's (still avail) 5 XS Power Batteries (1 d3400 and 1 d1200 left) 4 runs of knukoncepz 0 gauge (have all the wire still) DC power 270XP alt (sold) RF T1 6.5 components (both sold) Powerbass XAX 4160 (still avail) Custom built box 4.75^3 tuned 34hz (still avail)
