SwaggerWagon
Alright. I listen to a lot of chopped and screwed, and a good bit of decaf's stuff, but if it's gonna have crap output above 50hz or around there, then I guess ~32 hz will work

CJ18
Tuning at 34hz would do what you want. If you go to low then its just gonna sound like ass on anything but the low lows.
CJ18
My XL 15s are tuned somewhere in the 27-30hz range and they just dont play the mid to high bass like I would like.
n8ball2013
You have to give to get. You can either tune stupid low and slam the lows if you play alot of that stuff or you can tune a little bit higher and get some better roll off. Its up to you. Id much rather have a better rolloff and ability to play higher frequencies. just make sure you set your subsonic on your amp and you'll be fine. SwaggerWagon
I'm gonna shoot for 32-34 hz then. I'm gonna attempt to design a box myself to save some $$$. Should keep me busy for about an hour or so haha

n8ball2013
dont be so sure. I used the BFH to get that thing in and had to remove the entire back seat rear deck trim etc. Quote THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. 7jezuz7
I am currently also in the process of making a box for my level 3 12's I haven't finished it but I do hope it sounds great. It's 1.75 ft^3 per sub and tuned to between 32 and 33 hz. Edit: And I have one right now for a single 12 actually installed and it's 1.76 ft^3 tuned to about 34Hz this one does sound great. I don't play into the upper 50hz or whatever but I think it should still do good. I'll give that a try sometime. And I listen to a lot of decaf and c&s and it sounds great!
