mbdblue
just a little advice....I wouldnt put 3.5k on that sub hittin lows for extended periods of time. I had mine on a stetsom 2k6d wired to 1 ohm and it didnt like full tilt for more than 5-10 minutes. box was 3.2-3.3 cubes at 34 hz my opinion is because of that dirty ass power. 3 cubes should be fine with that power. especially if you arent using your gain as a volume know. had my gain set. maybe it was a clipped song, I dont know. but I know I smelled coil Quote AA-Atomic-Clif Designs-DC-Diamond-Digital Designs-Directed-Eclipse-Fi-Hertz-Hifonics-Kenwood-Memphis-Phoenix Gold-Pioneer-PPI-PSi-Stinger-Sundown-TC Sounds-Viper-Zapco
dwright27
those amps make dirty power. if you could zoom in on the wave, you would see it looks clean, but is really clipped. same with the SD amps. but whatever. Don't know enough about stetsoms to do so...maybe it was being clipped, took it pretty decently though. REaudioBuff
Doing sub up port up. In my scion i saw best results that way. It bounces off the hatch really well and I honestly think that the glass top might help... Don't get me wrong I think I was pushing the limits of the car when i was nearing 155db. But for this I think it'll be great sub up port up. AI James
Sandras TC is lacking the room we wanted. But she was demanding of 2 12's. I even told her it would be louder with one better sub.

I'm not trying to thread jack but I'm very curious about this! Can u please explain more... particularly the sd amps part how much do u have to zoom in on the wave? And how would that small of a clip effect the sub, or does it make a steadly low clippin no matter what ur playing?
