lol its not actually isobaric, its a fail.

Its just two sealed boxes together... Lots of cancellation.

The woofers wouldnt cancel them selves out if you have it setup right. Such as switching the phase on one of the woofers so they would act as one.

This is an isobaric bandpass setup.The idea behind it is that having two subs in a push pull (One sub is out of phase with the other sub)configuration will provide twice the moving mass and also allow for half the box size needed for a normal bandpass box.These set up was very popular in the early 90's when bandpass boxes were huge.They can sound great just like anyother box if designed correctly.The first Kicker solobaric sub was based on this idea.They doubled the mass of the cone and allowed a 12" sub to play in .8 cft instead of the normal 2 cft required boxes of the times.
