20's or 22's for my 2001 Impala

Recommended Posts

I cant decide between 20's or 22's. Im thinking 20's because even wrapped in 255/35/20's they are just a little to tall. I know I will have a lot of weight in the trunk and I don't want it rubbing. I also plan on this car being my daily driver and I'd like to keep the speedo as close as possible. Anybody here own an 2000-2005 impala and have pics and input?

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.

cmon 22s! but your gonna have to watch every bump on the road. my friend had some 22s on his impala and they look about the right size not too big but big enough. as far as just putting rims and not have to worry too much then the 20s would be best but i wouldnt buy them new, not worth it IMO

I guess I will just have to wait and see how much wheel well gap I have when it gets back from being painted... I just think 20's will be too small...

Your right 20s are too small! And a 35 series tire is too big. Id do 22s and 25 series. Rubberband that bitch! Go big!
