I took first in the wild class and gave out a couple brutal hair tricks My group of 5 took 7 trophies PICS lower tuning is just hard. 97SSBlazer Posted September 26, 2011 Author Report Posted September 26, 2011 The classes were kinda weird. Mild 1-3 woofers, Wild 4+ woofers and Extreme for walled vehicles. The extreme class was the LOWEST scoring class with blow throughs and large back seat "walls" scoring 139.xx's I don't even remember what they were LOL. My vehicle was the loudest at 145.49 followed by LilTeddp's Jimmy at 144.5 with 2 T2D215's and 2 RF T2500-1bd's @ 4ohms each. The green Mustang took 2nd in Wild with a 141.xx with 6 RF P2 10's sealed on a RF T1500-1bdCP. The Blue and Silver Impala took 2nd in Mild doing 143.xx with 2 AQ HDC3 15's on a T2500-1bdCP. 3rd Mild went to a Fi BL (possibly BTL Owner didn't know )on a planet audio "3000" watt doing 141.x. There was not a 3rd Wild as no one else had more than 4 subs in the competition. lower tuning is just hard. I gained .5 DB by turning DOWN the sub level on my deck. My car peaks much higher that what this song does, using this song I peaked at 39Hz. I have never mic'd my car using high tones to see what a 45, 50, or 55Hz tone would do, I'm sure it would be higher lower tuning is just hard.
