97SSBlazer Posted August 7, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 Well I sold the W7's and the T2500-1bdCP. I used that money to build another motor. I choose ZZP's XP cam made by Comp cams. I also boguht the matching injector and im going to run a dual best setup since I will be running a small pulley now. the cam is good for ~50 WHP I'm hoping for 300WHP and 370WTQ which should be good for high 12's as long as I get traction. I will be doing 1 good sub powered by the T1000-4. Im leaving all the interiors in as they shound incredible. For the shows around here it doenst matter if you have 8 12's or 1 12's you get the same points. We rarely have a legit show involving a meter so im not too worried about it. I will be starting a clean build for the smaller build that will allow easy removal of the sub and box for racing. My White Impala will be geting a clean install soon too lower tuning is just hard. 97SSBlazer Posted August 16, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2012 Well I got the new motor in. Its a Series III (L26) High Compression 3800 with 56K Miles. TOG Headers, ZZP 3" DP, ZZP XP Cam, 105# Springs, Thrush welded dual exhaust, 3.3" Pulley. Dyno tuned very safe. The trans is still weak and needs a rebuid due to all the power im runnig now. Tuned VERY SAFE im at 276WHP and 330 WTQ. After the trans gets built I will be re-tuned to around 300WHP - 350WTQ It HAULS ASS . I am redoing the trunk again too . 97SSBlazer Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 Well I sold the Impala. I blew the motor and the Trans was slipping so I sold it to the shop that built the motor. I got 4000 for it stripped down, No audio or wiring. all stock. Than in the same week a couple walked in to my Audio shop and asked how much I wanted for my White 03 Impala for 6000. I miss my Silver Impala but with a junk motor and trans it was time to let it go. I will be starting another vehicle build soon... lower tuning is just hard.
