That's my thought as well as Audiofanatics too, new coils, new stiffer soft parts and get going again. He was actually telling me to have them do both and it should be good to go for a while longer but one of the other guys in chat was saying otherwise dry.gif I guess I will get a better once PSI finally gets back to me. SUPER IMPATIENT RIGHT NOW lolol. I emailed them yesterday evening and am still waiting.

EDIT: and if it's a decent price, I'll have to have someone around to run the camera or the car so that i can record the demolition of the other sub bomb.gif

I'm am down for sure. I love destruction of subs.. I will have to show you the video of me putting both of my old 15s on a wall socket... let me just say both of them together was taking the wall socket no problem. Haha

This is what I just got from psi:

I\'m sorry but we actually do not stock parts to rebuild this model. We do not use 9.75\" spiders for 2.5\" coils, nor do we have long enough coils to use with that style of frame. We would have to replace the frames to rebuild them.

So I think I will pull the other sub and try to sell them both here, and save that money towards new sub/s. Tell me what you guys think, I've been mulling this over:

1 d2 15 (cone are of 176.71)

2 d4 12's (cone are of 226.19)

2 d410's (cone are of 157.08)

Cheapest option will probably be 2 10's, 2 12's has the most cone area, and 1 15 would look the coolest i think. Either way, I gotta start looking to save up about $4-500 to do it right this time.

EDIT: Actually, it's looking like it will be much cheaper to get the power handling out of 1 15" than it will to get get 2 10's or 2 12's.

Yea cus if you get one good 15 that can take 2000 rms. You should be good. And it would sound badass..

I'm definitely thinking a single d2 15" after looking for a bit. Here's the order I think of being my best preference 1st. Prices are close enough that it doesn't matter too much.

FI SP4

AA Mahem - http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/Mayhem-15-D2-%E2%80%93Ascendant-Audio-15%22-2500W-Dual-2%252dOhm-Mayhem-Series-Subwoofer.html

PSI Platform 3 - http://psicaraudio.com/products-page/platform-3-subwoofers/15%E2%80%B3-platform-3-subwoofer-2/

Any other suggestions? Gotta be rated for 2400 Wrms.

I have had no experience with any of them. But what I have read, they are all good subwoofers, and I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.. but that just my .02
