You must have a secure place to park your car at work if you don't have tinted windows with a wall. Any noise ordanace violation tickets yet, since you're so visable? Thx Bro. I have been working on the car for a while now. I have another big rebuild coming if I can ever get ahead. It should push my fiberglassing and fabrication skills to the limit so I am excited. The starter knocked me back a bit though. The car is pretty safe. I actually worry more about it when I am at school. There is security there too. Most people are confused when they see the 2x4's in the back window and don't know what to make of it. The side windows have plasti-dip on them and it is pretty difficult to see the inside of the car even when looking through the windshield. I've been followed by cops and haven't been pulled over. Kevin M Posted September 1, 2012 Author Report Posted September 1, 2012 I've been knocking around the idea for a while now and finally have a little cash to get started. I have to be honest. I felt the first wall was a failure. From a build perspective and volume. I know I can do more with these subs in the proper enclosure. Didn't really know what I was doing the first time so now I am going to do it better. The wall fought me tooth and nail coming out. Here are a couple pictures to bring you up to speed. Subs and foam out. The baffle and the ports, side filler pieces, etc. Shot through the rear window. Bye the bye...I did build a new wall but wasn't happy with how it was coming together so I will be redoing it in a couple weeks. If anyone watches my vids on YT you can see I was close. Still would like to try that 6 18" so maybe plans will change. I'm ridin' the fence so well see. The 4 tuned in the high 30's would probably be louder but I have never seen a 6 18" setup in a sedan so I would kinda like to try it. If 3 handled the onyx1500 I think the 6 could take 2400 watts easily. That would be such a intense build. I put my money down it does hairtricks. You should make a 4th order clamshell looool. (on there way here) atomic at-3000.1 (soon) 146.2 outlaw @39hz., bad alt an bad batt when termed (old 2 12" build) alpine 6.5s in doors infinty 4x6s in dash. clarion cz201 HU. mechman 240a H/O alt stuff i still need. SHCA 2/0 wire SHCA 1/0 to 2/0 adapters Atomic AT-3000.1 Lots of sound deadner new mids an highs, still debating on what to do. A few Deka g31 batts.
