Yeah, thats what I saw. I didnt see the second input for bi-amping, so I was a little confused

90 degree clamps are ftw, but glad your build is coming along man, you do some good work, super clean and that barrier strip thing for your mids/highs is genius

lol thanks, this is actually my first time working with wood of any sorts, first box as well i built myself

and i took the barrier strip idea from getlikeme's build on here

very cool, def getting alot accomplished. I like the way you mounted the door speakers with the mdf ring. I'm gonna have to steal that idea for sure.

how do the jbl's sound? what exact model do you have

he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

i dont know how they sound in my install since i havnt put any power in yet

but they are these same ones, except this pair is seeing about 100w rms per side, mine will see about 160:

got some more done today

that includes the box (not 100% complete i still need to brace it and i still need to route the holes out

also finished my battery tray for the xs power d2700

and screwing the floor to the trunk (not 100% dead on but its what im least worried about tbh)

yea i gotcha man, clamps are your best friend when building boxes, idk what i would have done without them when i built my box for my type-x

yea i gotcha man, clamps are your best friend when building boxes, idk what i would have done without them when i built my box for my type-x

yeah except i got 36" clamps thinking i would need em that big, except i never used them when it came to the width of the box so now that i realize it i woulda been better off with like an 18 or 21" clamp or so
