akustoms Posted March 6, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 6, 2011 well i already built the box, and for some noob reason i didnt think about it. anyways its sub up port back in a 2003 xtreme blazer iv only got 5/8's of an inch between the motor and the port wall i was thinkin i could either just add another baffle so id have an inch or so but its already double baffeled so it would end up being triple lol. or i could just invert it. would triple baffle hurt anything? Cashdollar2009 Posted March 6, 2011 Report Share Posted March 6, 2011 A triple baffle would not do anything spec wise as you would just be adding wood to the OUTSIDE of the box. Also, by inverting the subs, you would be gaining more net volume equivalent to that of the total displacement of your subwoofers motors. This really just making your box "bigger" and dropping your tuning assuming you do not modify your port in any way.
