ryderonthestorm Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Fuse at the front battery and fuse at the rear battery. And yes fuse from rear batt to your amps. 1991 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series DC Power 270 Amp Alt Big 3 Kicker/KnuKonceptz 0 Gauge Power wire XS Power D6500 XS Power D3100 Pioneer Headunit JBL Mids and Highs Rockford Fosgate 400.4 3 Sundown Audio SA-10's wired @ .67 ohms American Bass 150.1
smashedz28 Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 if your going front of car to back of car, fuse it next to each battery on the positive wire. then fuse it again before your amp. 2 fuses front to back, 1 fuse to amp. fuse to the rating of the wire is how ive always been told.
irpirate Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 fellow 4runner owner!!! lil diagram i have for these situations little black rectangles are fuses. within 18 inches of each battery is what i've read/seen around here. hiiiiiiii2002 4runner - buncha speakers n amps n shit (gone)1994 astro - more stuffzupdate: pretty sure all the pic links in the logs are broken lol. ma slop garb build log16 12's 4th order4runner rebuild in progressclickkk meeeee!!!! 4 18's 6th orderUBL - clickyhttp://www.youtube.com/yyj11589 lots of hater kids here. irpirate Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 two fuses for each positive run going to the back. one right after the first bat, one right before the second. then fuse in between the bat + to amp + if the amp doesn't have built in fusing. hiiiiiiii2002 4runner - buncha speakers n amps n shit (gone)1994 astro - more stuffzupdate: pretty sure all the pic links in the logs are broken lol. ma slop garb build log16 12's 4th order4runner rebuild in progressclickkk meeeee!!!! 4 18's 6th orderUBL - clickyhttp://www.youtube.com/yyj11589 lots of hater kids here.
